No matter how much I struggled against her during my run and how I had to try it dozens of times, that one pattern at 1:34 somehow always made me a bit teary from how beautifully in sync it was, and how unexpectedly gracious it was. This isn't a violent and brutal fight like Sans' is. There's something really harmonious about it somehow. And this one part of the fight really emphasises this. If you don't take too long on the menus you will always reach that pattern right as the light and sad piano and guitar hits while the arrows close on you in circles. This fight just gives me so many chills man. I never want to do it again though. It was extremely hard for an uncoordinated noob like me, but it also feels bad to be happy about having beaten the real hero of the story.

Ive never played undertale, just watched hundreds of playthroughs, and only played the sans battle through an online website, and now I can consistently beat it, although I do need to use items. Undyne’s boss fight here honestly looks harder to do now.

I played bad time simulator so many times that im really good at beating sans, but when i actually buckled up to play genocide, I got absolutely destroyed by undyne. I literally rage quit and came back years later. I then beat her after hours of torment. Man did I feel good.

I've tried for hours and hours straight to try and beat her and I've gotten close a couple times but....just, like, how?! The attack where she summons circles of spears that follow you is really what kills me. (If you don't know what I'm talking about, it's the attack at 3:05) Edit: Good news! I'm glad I played Undertale this year, I didn't get to play it before because I can't afford to buy it. But now I'm struggling with Undyne xD(I played the Neutral and Pacifist first before doing Genocide). Fun Fact: You remember the attack where you tune for the second time? The ones with the arrows rotating around you? If you come up a path to take, you can actually repeat that exact same path every time and be good. I've done her fight so many times that I came to this conclusion. However, you cannot replicate your path on the harder version with more arrows. Why? Well, the arrows don't spin in the same direction every time. It's a little RNG. Anyway
