My head canon is that when flowey asked them to turn and look at them their entire body shook at the sight of their expression, and each time they turn their head back he hears a loud cracking sound.

So each time Chara switches with Frisk, they make sure to look at us. Assuming that Chara didnt switch back with Frisk during Flowey's speach, that means Flowey should think that Frisk is Chara even more. Or Chara did switch back with Frisk and thats the only reason they looked at Flowey. If so, Flowey only saw -_- Maybe Chara would stop looking at us if we do a Pacifrisk route but since most of us kinda... did a Genocide and blamed Chara for it.. Chara is prob goanna continue to unsettaly look at us to constantly remind us

this is really cool. its such a simple concept of just chara's face looking back at the player but it immediately gives the effect of "i know what you've done." in such an eerie and guilt-inducing kind of way!
