One thing that bugs me is people saying Ceroba is annoying because she thinks she's no better than Asgore and constantly dunks on herself. And like... that's the point??? She's not okay. She's a complete mess after inadvertently killing her daughter, and she blames herself. That's what makes her compelling to me; that flaw in her logic. She's too grief-stricken to think logically about what happened and whether she deserves love or not. And the final battle is about Clover proving to her that she DOES deserve to live.
