This is my FAVORITTEEEEEE fan-made deltarune secret boss song. Some other fan themes can be so fast and intense, and while this does have intense parts, it feels like it more focuses on slow and VERY good melodies. Some of the harmonies are SOGUIAHDFUIAHD good oh my goodness. It's ear candy.

The track sounds weirdly upbeat for a character on the edge of ending it all. Evocative of the hope the delta warriors purport to bring forth to the darkners? Or perhaps it's more evocative of Conner coming to terms with what he's about to do.

i've.. got a few questions from this i know from what i've heard of, secret bosses can't be recruited and turn into items into kris's pocket but since conner can't turn into an item can he be recruited? (he probably can't be recruited since he's technically gone now but i'm curious about this...) another question is that is there any other darkner that's exactly like him? maybe like... a ripoff version of mickey mouse that goes along with his cartoon? or is he just a solo character in his show what were the crew trying to do with him? i made a few theories from this but they sound a little too silly to be true i know you aren't going to expand on conner's lore, and i understand, i love your work for haunted insanity! i've been playing this game non-stop and i really love chip but if you took the time to respond to this i'd be glad!!! i love conner so much and i don't think this obsession is considered healthy at this point but i'm okay with it if you don't know how to respond to these

One thing that bugs me is people saying Ceroba is annoying because she thinks she's no better than Asgore and constantly dunks on herself. And like... that's the point??? She's not okay. She's a complete mess after inadvertently killing her daughter, and she blames herself. That's what makes her compelling to me; that flaw in her logic. She's too grief-stricken to think logically about what happened and whether she deserves love or not. And the final battle is about Clover proving to her that she DOES deserve to live.

Lowkey reminds me of the Suicide Mouse creepypasta in a way. Also added with the fact that it takes inspiration from the Steamboat Willie public domain situation, I could see the Suicide Mouse pasta being a intentional or unintentional reference.

The fact that this a truely creative interpretation of the leitmotifs of Deltarune is my favorite part. Most boss AU people take a melody, throw the FREEDOM motif in there for effect, and call it a day. BUT NO. You actually took what you were given, and made something genuinely original from it. And for that, I applaud you. ❤
