Funnily enough, there's a book in the Steamworks that references two of these events! You can pull aside a cabinet in the chemistry wing(only accessible on a neutral route) and inside is a book on underground urban legends. They reference the fact that Snowdin in particular has a lot of fences and clearly marked paths because monsters disappear there a lot. There's also a reference to the broken machine in the arcade. The third story in the book is about a human who somehow lived in the underground undetected for several years before just their soul being discovered in waterfall, which is odd. I have no clue what that could be referencing, and it doesn't make sense for it to be a fun event since you can't go to waterfall

not sure if this relates directly to the soul one, but in the dark ruins room with the pillars (usually has one with a cat drawn on it for the "caterpillar" joke) different images can actually appear on the other pillars if you have the right fun value. one of them is a picture of a heart and the narration says "Somebody's... SOUL?"

I was wondering how the human soul Chujin had ended up in Asgore’s possession. They didn’t actually survive, Axis killed them and Chujin took the soul and hid the evidence (which is why the ballet shoes and dusty tutu are in hidden places in Undertale).

isnt it weird how removing the music in a game so full of life can make it so... unsettling. i encountered the snowdins fun event and oh my god... such a simple thing to change. but completely changed the entire tone. i can imagine it with music being quite funny, but without it... oh man... chills

It's like the Fun is Infinite screen in Sonic CD. In the JPN/PAL release it's a silly screen with fun bouncy music. In the US release it's nightmare fuel. It all just depends on the music.

Jane's Fun event (30-34) reminds me of Pokémon Mystery Dungeon. The way she says how the forest constantly changes, alongside random doors appearing... I think it's really close. Cool!

I got that monitor sequence in Chujin’s basement in my playthrouth, it was so unexpected it actually sent chills up my spine. Because I was in that room for a good WHILE with nothing happening.

I don't know how rare it is, but I got the 60-62 one while fighting Ceroba in pacifist route in one of her cutscenes (the second one) on my first playthrough. I though it was part of the cutscene

strangely enough, i got the fun event with wanda on my first playthrough (which was pacifist). had no idea this game had fun events, and i eventually ran into june on i think a 'kill all bosses' neutral run also i love her (wanda. jane is cool too tho) tbh. she's so silly. edit: her name is wanda i forgot!!!! sick name i love wanda

In the Genocide run I'm doing, I got a drawing on that pillar that looked like a depiction of what the human with the Soul of Integrity looked like (since the human on the drawing is wearing ballet attire) but the face and most of the head is blacked out completely

So I might be crazy but I'm pretty sure 12:00 is a reference to Five Nights at Freddy's. I know IceE is there but the monitor, the fan, the striped cup, the phone and the pizza? No way it's not referencing FNaF Edit: Also I'm noticing at 12:27 when Chujin is on the monitor, I know it's him but it could also be a reference to Lolbit from FNaF again, because it's a fox head appearing on a screen

Look. - Buy honeydew coffee at their place - Go to the right screen from cafe. You'll see a monster with horns near the sign, give him the coffee and get a mitten - Bring the mitten to a black monster, who stands on the way to hot springs, she'll give you a map. - Now, backtrack all the way to lost travellers (they are in the room above the room with giant rock with Toriel's symbol). Give them the map, get the matches. - Bring matches to the monster you gave coffee earlier. Now you'll have a lukewarm coffee. - Free the child's tongue and viola! You get a Silver scarf! 6 def + 2 hp regen each turn. Basically, you now have an armor piece that's viable for quite a while!

My guess is that he's sorta stuck in the void as of yellow, also an important factor is that sans and papyrus are not present or even mentioned. Which in yellow's cannon may mean that gaster has not yet found a connetion between the void and the world. That would explain why the skele-bros are abscent, and would kinda fit
