They pretended to give him power but remember the death dealers were only loyal to victor and Amelia he could rule but he was limited in what he could do I am pretty sure he was kept out of pretty secret meetings remember when he was freed after drinking the scientist and kraven's blood he saw memories and boom a plan came along to free his brother.

Realistically Viktor should have put Markus in a cell next to William's. The Death Dealers of the first generation obviously had no respect or loyalty for Markus, so why bother having him around?

I mean she's not like David being a even higher pure blood or a low born that was turned many centuries later. Since she was directly turn by Victor as a replacement to his past daughter who killed cause of treason(btw her father was commissioned and later killed by Kraven on victors orders to build Williams prision) and celine is the only one apart from Victor who knows Williams prision(Marcus wasn't stupid he had the ability to search anyone's memories didn't matter if it was a werewolf or vampire or some form of hybrid) and you never discussed Eve's traits. She had several forms. Her initial human form,her feeding hybrid form when she was feeding off another vampire you can see her teeth and blue black eyes which Celine used to have when she took Alexander blood first and last time. Than theres her hybrid werewolf form as scene killing other werewolves in the truck chasing scene(her skin was blue or bluish grey) with claws and teeth.. By the ways Jacob and her father wanted Eve to be bred with Jacob. To have later hybrid evolved children. Unless Marius who wanted to str8 up and kill her cause he saw her as huge threat,and killed Michael just gain access to his blood which he probably bled him dry into a husk..

Yes Williams victims can’t change back to human form, as far as I know the only reason William looks different than the other werewolves is because the effects team wanted to give him a very specific look and his own design so he would be distinct. Also his father Alexander attributed Williams inability to take human form as a side effect of his uncontrollable anger, so theoretically William and the other werewolves could possibly take human form it just might be a lot more difficult

@@coganLollins There's also his age to consider - When he was finally captured in 1202 (Think is was 1202...) he was at LEAST 500 years old at that point, hence the virus had matured and become more virulent. As to his victims being somewhat different than William..? again, it's his age - the newbies are usually a dark gray, w. black fur. (Lucian, a Lycan..? was jet black - again, viral mutation.)

She's like an offspring of Sonja and Lucian even though their child has died with Sonja from sunlight exposure... She was a former human but when Victor turned her, she underwent extensive experiments to replicate Sonja's DNA. Her status is not clear but I think she would've been a death dealer before the war started because she went rogue after it.

She would have joined the servant class like Erika.

She was also set up by her own coven and ambushed by a large number of Lycan. Lycans are physically more powerful than vampires generally, Victor being one of the only one we see man handling them. Makes sense to me and the story isn't really about her, not in that particular movie.

She was brought down by superior numbers.

I liked that story, i mean, it was shit overall but had potential, I really wish they got better funding to flesh it out nicely. I didn't mind eve, a daughter born with both powers, growing up with them would be strong as fuck

It's never explained in the movies. Viktor implies in Underworld that it's a power-sharing arrangement between three strong monarchs but that doesn't actually make sense, given that the entire Death Dealer army turned on Markus in Underworld Evolution. Also Markus could never be trusted not to assassinate the two sleeping Elders, given that he had no attachment to the vampire community, as noted by Alexander Corvinus.

@@tompearce5418 After Underworld Evolution it seems that Viktor lied about their history in the first movie so presumably the Elders each ruled a period while the other two were awake (perhaps as council members), the hibernating coming into it at some point. There's an Underworld Wiki page on The Chain.

It does matter, though because we didn't write the story and lore, no matter what we say it won't ever be considered canon

It's fascinating because once Viktor was dead and the social structure he built had been dismantled, the Vampires were decimated within a couple of decades. It was their rigid conservatism that enabled them to survive and thrive for the better part of two thousand years.
