EA is in charge of BioWare, but they were around for Inquisition as well and it wasn't ruined because of it. BioWare has enough of a fanbase that there was major backlash towards EA when they announced that there'd be things like multiplayer and microtransactions in this game about five years ago, and since then, they've wisely decided to back off with that stuff. And for the voice, I don't know who the voice actor is, but that's definitely a customized character - they've been saying that the character creator in The Veilguard is going to be crazy good
