@@mr.mcbain donovan mitchell had to be ball dominant cause he was the #1 guy and didn't have reliable teammates. in the celtics series, he couldn't trust anybody to make another shot so he had to take over just to keep them in the game. we need to see him in another environment i have faith that he'll be able to work well with lebron and AD especially and his playmaking will also be a huge boost cause it's something the lakers have been lacking since 2020

Man, back when nbc and cbs had the nba, i could never recall when any team's top players ever sat out during the playoffs, for any little, random thing. Under disney, it is way too common for top guys to suddenly not be available, when before you had guys who would play hurt, knowing that the season is almost over. That said, i can tell thay mitchell is outta there. He likes being the star, but basically being the only scoring option can win him much - especially against a westerm team. James and Mitchell in Cleveland would be cool.
