Jackson Payne he recruited a super team that can’t shoot threes and free throws. All of their five star prospects shoot sub 40 percent from the three and shoot near 65 percent from the free throw line. You can’t win if you don’t have shooters. Most college coaches don’t know what they are doing.

Zion reminds me of a Charles Barkley in his play but he is taller and not chubby. Just the way he can shoot and rebound his own shot over and over. He can diagnose faster than others and is fast enough to act.

Chuck had superb offensive technique, and was also a very good passer, neither of which is Zion's MO. Imo he is closer to athletic Paul Millsap or Elvin Hayes or something. In any case, a very unique player.

Coach K only cares about his personal wealth. He is no different than a Civil War era plantation owner. The media props his teams up every year. Their scandles are always " killed by the media". Just like the many criminal behaviors at Duke. I actually love the players from Duke ( Played against Dawkins & Gene Banks) and Christian Lattner is always one of the most underrated players from Duke. He will always be one of the top 5 NCAA players of all time. MSU should have never been put in this bracket as a #2. This game should have been a final 4 or championship game. Look at the teams Duke played before MSU. They always get cup cake brackets. Feel bad for the players but glad Duke is gone. That one and done con doesn't equal championships. That game was won on coaching and battle tested college basketball veterans. Duke's were dominating high school last year.

Duke fan here, It was tough going to the Elite 8 for a second year in a row and coming up short. The game was a very winnable game for us, although I do think Zion was getting beaten to death all night in the paint, and no fouls were called, but other than that we could have won. But I hate the media trying to be so divisive to a team all of the time. Trying to blame Coach K or RJ. And calling the season a failure. Its hard for freshmen led teams to win the National Championship. In fact all of the teams in the Final Four are mainly upperclassmen led teams. Am I bummed and disappointed yeah, but there is no ONE person to blame. The TEAM lost. Nothing more, nothing less.

I actually agree with skip here 100%. Dukes offense turned to a one on one and they didn’t run enough plays to get the ball to Zion. When you have stud players like duke has it’s easy to fall into that one on one game. Although, Zion looked tired in the 2nd half (courtesy of being 285 lbs.) and you have to give Michigan State credit for playing good defense and denying Zion the ball. RJ Barret is good but he does ball hog sometimes and forces shots. Look at the Gonzaga loss duke had earlier this season and see what I’m talking about. RJ forced bad shot after bad shot that game. Plus let’s not forget duke has times where they just miss way too many free throws, and in tight games that’s the difference in a win or loss

Michae Chafin Lebron was in the nba dropping 50 on teams at the age of 19-21 he’s no where near on Lebron’s level yet maybe Zion can be in the future but I don’t ever see that happening

Rap Beef he doesn’t control a game like lebron can and used to . Lebron was basically the pg bringing the ball up , running the offense . Zion is a true Sf and you don’t even notice him on some plays because he’s just standing around the perimeter and setting screens

RJ can shoot off the dribble. I think Coach K wanted the most skilled player to have the ball. RJ has an all around offensive game. Kind of reminds me of young Paul George, dribble drive, decent mid range, developing a 3 ball.

To think about it, Coach K's Olympic team has the most talents yet they always struggle in the final game. I don't see Coach K has any better strategies than simply motivating the star players to play defense and use transition offense to exhaust the opponents like Spain and Serbian teams.

I’ve been watching Duke all season long. They don’t run plays for Zion. They even don’t give him the ball enough on the block. I thought K was going to run and Ally opp to Zion on the last play but they had RJ play hero ball and get fouled to miss 1 free throw. Coach K has been getting out Coach the whole tournament !
