A fisherman told us he found a truck in the lake. We go to investigate with our scuba diving gear and side scan sonar. What we found was surprising!

You never know. Better to suspect you have something and dive on it and to find out it's nothing than to assume you have nothing and not dive on it to later find out it actually was something.

At least you weren't "catfished" and the boater did see something. Leave no stone unturned! Now you have another location ✔️ed off. That dock section can come out at any time. Good work guys.

Another potential target eliminated, at worst. Recovering the pontoon would have some value, both as rehearsal and to possibly put it into service somewhere if it is easily repairable.

Jeremy, I have a question in regards to your breathing apparatus. Why does it sound like you are in the middle of an asthma attack every time you inhale? I have not noticed that sound when other divers are underwater. It could be something that makes you more comfortable. I was just wondering if it is something that needs replaced? We don't want you diving with faulty equipment.

It because of the mouth piece, and the hose being near the camera to pick up the sound. Jared uses a different mask, so it is running different, and not as close to the hoses. (my best guess).

It's just a different hose he's using. You'd be amazed at the subtle differences between divers' equipment.

The OTS Guardian mask (the mask the Jeremy and Adam use), often has a whine when you inhale. You will also sometimes get a “chatter” when you exhale. The equipment is not in any type of disrepair. Diving in a full face mask is the safest way to dive, in that if they were to go unconscious, they would still be able to breath. In an open circuit dive setup, the regulator would just fall out.

Can't see your sonar screen eith sun glare? Am I only one with this problem? Unless your camera is close to screen like closeup of map. Still enjoy listening to you, but would enjoy more if I could see sonar screen too.

I laugh so hard with some of the things you do or say. I’m telling you, you went down to discover your “truck” and your breathing in that apparatus nearly gave me a panic attack. 😂 Love to watch you and Adam and AWP and more (can’t think of everyone off the top of my head). Don’t ever stop what you’re all doing. Whether it’s metal detecting, underwater scuba dive finds or finding loved ones. I’m hooked! I’ve not even been a member for a month yet and I’m hooked I tell ya! I’ve been metal detecting for only a couple of years. Don’t go far and the city is strict 🤷🏻‍♀️ so what do I do? Go in our own back yard. 😂 I’ve found some pretty neat items. It’s something to do. Now if only I can get someone to do magnet fishing with me. 🤔

Also if any thing or vehicle is not clearly visible on sonar due thick silt cover then that vehicle will be easier to detect by the magnet that clung to it......bouy of the magnet will get pulled in the water body suggestive of metallic thing or vehicle......goodluck to you all

Adam and Jeremy ....one technique I would like to suggest for searching underwater vehicles,can a magnet of an appropriate size can be dragged along the water body floor such that it won't obstruct sonar view as well as the chance of magnet clinging to some metal object or vehicle will increase....chances of studying the floor more closely for lost drivers and vehicles will increase and so more vehicles people will be found.....just try it.....thanks for the entertainment 👍 keep up the good work

Hey nug, originally from the Huntsville Alabama area. Numerous missing vehicles in the north Alabama area. Some tied to missing persons. I would focus on Morgan, Madison, limestone, cullman , and Jefferson counties. Lots of lakes and the massive Tennessee River. Like I told AWP. Do not I mean DO NOT ENTER the waters of Mobile Bay. Lots of large alligators.

@@exploringwithnug if you go on the river you are going to need a bass or pontoon boat. Fast moving current and very deep in spots some close to 200 feet
