Forts is a physics-based RTS where foes design and build custom bases, arm them to the teeth and blast their opponent's creations to rubble.
Build an armoured fort in real-time and arm it to the teeth. Collect resources, develop your tech-tree, unlock advanced weapons to target your opponent's weak points, and feel the satisfaction as their fort comes crashing down.

I really feel for the last guy left on a team when its multiple players just pounding on them. You know its hopeless but the good ones try so hard to hold out. Props to them for making the matches more epic, even in defeat.

This game called forts where you build a fort and try to destroy another fort with laser, cannon, artillery, etc. You can upgrade your weapon and forts to make your fort better. That's all I know about the game nothing more.

35:17 jesus, that poor bastard was fully prepared for anything. 6-door setup, 4-layer steel on the front, sandbagged roof with 2-layer steel, two cannons and four upgraded mines.. all gets instadeleted by the Atom Cannon, crumbles, and explodes the core. I feel bad for them. And that front base, even though they were crumbling, started towering presumably to block the atom bomb for striking again. Very respectable

I love this video. Everything about it. The simplicity. The complexity. The rigid adherence to physics. The genuine strategy and tactics needed to actually out-perform and out-think another team of 4. How each role differs, based on your position. Fantastic game. It feels like a bridge-builder game mixed with Civilization. My one gripe, is at 37:40 where a nuke lands on #3 base. The animation shows the nuke's heat cloud going horizontally against the trajectory of the nuke. But, that's not how heat clouds work. It would rise vertically, in accordance with thermodynamics - heat rises. But that's not a deal-breaker. I'm definitely going to download this game. Thanks for making this video :)

I find lasers much more effective than cannons. even if the ennemy put energy shields on, it's still possible to door snipe for massive damage. at the very least laser can take map control easily, and then i put some mortars.

Looking back, I'm glad they haven't changed gameplay too much. It's one of the games they make continual updates and balance without making things worse. That's pretty rare in the game world. I think they almost always make things worse.

Imagine a side scroller game where you have the same layout as Forts RTS, but each player plays as a actual individual engineer and it involves 16v16 players to construct a fort and shoot at each other? New concepts can be digging underground and building outposts for launching weapons, and even infiltration in close combat.
