I always liked Jeralt, but learning the lengths he went through to protect his child just shows how great of a dad he is. It’s just unfortunate that he’s a Fire Emblem dad.

I like how Jeralt tried to claim to Rhea that Byleth was a different kid but Rhea clearly never bought it for a second

It's super maddening how IS/KT is willing to hide important stuff in song lyrics with a made up language. It's super cool, yet it also drives me so mad like you don't even imagine.

So Claude being the target of assassination being the half-blooded heir to the Almyran throne doesn't surprise or that it could be one of his siblings going after him. If you are a history buff you would know that there are many examples of it happening in our world as well. The question I want to know is how did Tiana von Riegan meet Claude's father? Like Lorenz says there are not a lot of opportunities to meet with an Almyran in Fodlan aside from them occasionally invading into the Alliance via Fodlan's Throat in the County of Goneril. Claude says that his mother fell in love with him and eloped but he never tells how they met, like that is a major chunk of the story. Even Balthus who knows Claude's true identity only knows that she left for a foreign land, Almyra, and not much else. Did Tiana fight Claude's father during one of Almyra's invasions and fall in love with how strong/handsome he was?

I had literally never seen nor spoken to the assassin in Abyss you mention. These are the things I would not have learned about unless I had your channel to tell me. Really enjoying the unsolved mysteries

Claude was one of the only rulers who truly knew what the world was like at the start of the game. He hides his true power with that boyish freecaring nature, and a very tightly wound bow to shoot with.

I hope Golden Wildfire also uses Claude’s real name. I would love to know more about him, his upbringing and life in Almyra

I kinda love being able to meet the assassin. While many elements are unexplained, one of the recurring themes and strengths of FE3H is this sense you won't know the whole story. Even the three lords have parts of their lives we don't see. So, the game hints at them and lets us connect the dots for ourselves.

Finally, the ending to the "main character in FE3H dead" trilogy

While you're probably not wrong about that assassin not being from Almyra I do belive someone where in the Cindered Shadows story it's mentioned that refugees from Almyra, Duskr and a few other places are residing in Abyss so it wouldn't be out of the question for an Alymrian to know about Abyss especially if they were pretending to be a refugee to get to the monastery and be closer to Claude.

The Leonie thing literally bugged me so much. I get what they were going for with her character but I feel like simply making her Byleth childhood friend similar to Silas

Honestly? I'm glad you've started talking about lore-related stuff recently. For some reason FETubers seem to avoid talking about the deep lore of the games like the plague, which is incredibly frustrating when that's usually the most fascinating part of any given game for me... so this is quite a refreshing change of pace! I do hope you cover/homebrew your own fan theories on other games in the series though. Hell, you could even make an equivalent to your support science series dedicated solely to making long form docs about mysterious background stuff like mentioned lore events that never actually get shown, where certain games fit in the timeline (if there even is one), etc.!

I wasn't sure for a while which route to start with for Three Hopes, but now I might be leaning towards Claude

The clarification about not usually wanting to reference the japanese version because it's not what we got is strange to me. These videos aren't reviews, they are lorevideos. Logically if the localization did an accurate job, there is nothing to reference. And if there is something to reference, it should always be done as it's done here because having inaccurate details isn't exactly going to help understanding what is going on.

Did Gloucester have Claude's uncle killed? I know they kind of implied they did but I assumed that was the Slitherers trying to break up the alliance by killing Riegan's last heir and framing the house that would probably take control of Leicester if said heir died.

this whole route chapters is mostly a copy of Silver Snow. The fact that they didnt remove the edelgard/byleth scene was weird, it did not make sense at all since Byleth was never that close with Edelgard in Golden Deer. a missed opportunity for three houses to have claude's route deal with the almyren forces.

I think we could get some more explanation to who could want to assasinate Claude in 3 Hopes. From what it kinda looks like, and from what I'm hoping, they might use this game to tie up the loose threads left behind in 3 Houses. Also, I heard that Berwick music there at the end. Always good to hear Berwick music in your videos. 😁

Can you talk about the mystery surrounding Grima and Thabes, like how did Grima get so big and why aren’t there as many dragons present in awakening (I saw a theory that Grima probably ate some of the other dragons to get as big and powerful as he is, but I’m not sure), and who destroyed Thabes?

Yeah I often wondered about Claudes full back story but I'm hoping three hopes coming out this month will tell us more about him and his past

On Leonie and Byleth not meeting, I think it's possible they were just on another mission. Like they were in a group and worked separately for a bit. Would lend credence to their reputation if sometimes they want off on their own and not overshadowed by Jeralt.

Well it is a good thing that Three Hopes will explore this as shown what happens so far in the Golden Deer path of Three Hopes Demo.

There are so many things that the Ashen Wolves dlc added, especially random dialogue like the assassin and supports that I wish were present when I played the main story. I do not know any of it.

I was just reading the Nintendo website on Three Hopes and indeed noticed how all stories have details that suggest the routes diverging from the original path of Three Houses (the mentioning of throne succession, while that is not that important in 3H, the focus on rooting out dark forces in Edelgard's route suggests fighting against TWSITD from the beginning, and Almyra being the main antagonist in Claude's route). This supports the idea that the Claude lookalike in the trailer is indeed an Almyran and will likely serve as an antagonist. I do actually think, if this is the case, that he is related to Claude, as they look too similar as opposed to how different the other Almyran characters look. If the Almyrans are the bad guys, however, I am curious about the Holst/Bergliez fight and how tht happens. Also, you answered a question I've had for AGES. I always assumed the assassin was talking about Dimitri, as I keep forgetting Claude is a prince as well. I also never associated the assassin with the chapter before, so that's probably why. I love how Abyss just adds these little bits of information through dialogue, like the NPC that mentions 'some old guy with a cane' (Tomas) and the other one talking about 'a noble's lapdog' (probably referencing Hubert or an assistant to Hubert).

Just a random thought, but it would be awesome to see a sequel to Three Houses set in Almyra where Claude now rules and Edelgard successfully united Fodlan. Could be set like 20-30 years later, Claude’s kid(s) could be a part of the plot, and you don’t even have to bring Fodlan into it if you don’t want to

Any chance we might eventually get a Fire Emblem 3 Houses DLC including new Characters from 3 Hopes? I'm buying Fire Emblem 3 Hopes - but it doesn't scratch the same itch that mainline Fire Emblem does. Although, I am happy to see more Fire Emblem Spin-off games, RGT suggested Fire Emblem Racing etc, I would love a Nobugana Ambition x Fire Emblem.

I feel that the assassin is from almyra, as riding on wyvern is common there, so maybe that assassin was hoping to get a better chance to kill him on his preferred way of combat, i feel that using his skin as proof he is not almyran is dumb, because they probably just didn't want to make a dark-skinned version just for a minor character

Hey I really want to know if Count Gloucester had his men attack the wagon that Raphael and his parents were in and if Count Gloucester had Claude's Grandfather poisoned do not know if you have touched on that oh and my theory on Claudia von Riegan is that could be Dimitri's mother and Claudes Cousin I wander who that person is. And it makes sense that its his half-Syblings and their mothers that want him dead. I believe Claude's Father has a harem but only focuses on Claude's mother because he demanded he only focus on her. I feel like Count Gloucester wants his Son to take over so bad and i honestly feel bad for Lorenz even he does not like his own father.People do not like him because of his nobel ways but he is preparing everyone for their roles in life honestly. Always cringe when Claude and plots, schemes etc gets mentioned as there's no effect of this on gameplay and story wise, he doesn't really pull any of either in any significant way. Very overrated lord imo.
