What a hunt Eric.. I do remember the airing of that video… I remember saying that shot was the reward for the tons of practice shots you take and the hours of shooting at a target that doesn’t move. Muscle memory and clear thinking.. your right in that bull deserved his own video and story.. Well done well done.. from an eastern hunter…

Thanks for putting this together as its own hunt film. That elk deserves a solo spot light. Bummer that in the heat of the moment and how quick it happened that there was no video of you spotting him again and taking the shot. But screw the video get that beast on the ground and you did. Way to capture the raw emotion, "I just smoked a freaking giant" of the moment after. Jordan was as pumped as you were on that bull. Definitely helps to have an extra strong back to pack out a massive bull elk that had the body of a Roosevelt, but the antlers of a Rocky. I like the throwback segment at the end where the mount is in the shop and sitting next to Firebull as you complete the story. Great job Eric.

@@gethushin solo filming is definitely tough that’s for sure. I don’t know if a hat 🧢 mounted GoPro would have helped in that case or not. But I agree some things are meant for your eyes only. Yes I always enjoy the updates and stories from each mount on the wall. Definitely a dream office for many of us.

Eric! I have watched and rewatched this hunt and your fire bull hunt! Amazing bulls! Right now my goal is to get my first bull! It wont be this year because I did not get drawn. Hopefully I will get a tag next year! I will however help a friend to hopefully get his first bull! Thank you for sharing and re-sharing. Well of course we I loved this video. Always cool to be able to share a hunt with someone whom really appreciates their fellow hunting partner succeeding in harvesting a giant bull and the extra back labor is always a huge benefit too.
