The composer of this song is Dimash himself. He wrote this song when he was very young (about 18-19 years old). He sings this song in every his concert with his audience.

lol! We are in our 70’s, and and grew up together in the 60’s, 70’s, and 80’ns. We went to as many live concerts as possible including , every Saturday night at the Filmore West (San Francisco) , the music festival in Monterey, and WoodStock. Anyway, said that to say this, we were listening to some of Dimash’s music one evening, and out of the blue he said, I finally get it how women could scream and pass out at a concert! We were both cracking up, like RIGHT!??!

"PAI -pai "- in the Kazakh language this word expresses admiration and surprise. This word is probably not in the dictionary, it is a so-called linguistically specific language.. I tried to explain as best I could.😊

Thank you for sharing your thoughts, for being so respectful to the song Di wrote being very young. Imagine a boy from Kazaktstan coming a few years later first to China, and then to New York, and the audience is singing with him. Thousands are singing YOUR song. I can't think of his emotions at that point, never before people from other countries sang in HIS language, and it was HIS music', HIS voice. I guess that's why he went all the way up, he can't stop himself, he is so proud, so grateful that he could fly. And that he does, but with his voice of course. Thank you, Sir. Listening to you is a great pleasure.

This is my favorite song of Dimash (it was the first one I heard over a year ago). It is incredible the feeling he transmits, the connection with his audience, it is incredible how he is able to fill that entire stage just with his presence.

I love this song, even without the "Dolphin" - sound, it´s so emotional and frankly you need not to understand the language in order to understand the matter of the song - he is transporting every feeling musically and with his body language and face expression. I´m looking forward to your reactions on the "new" Dimash - his latest two songs "When I´ve got you" (the vampire Dimash ) and "Smoke" - released a few days ago - quite different but still 100 % Dimash

Thank you very much for another great analysis on Dimash’s artistry! The first time I've heard him hitting that extreme whistle note in this performance I was also shocked and in total disbelief of what I’ve heard...😅He undoubtedly owns an impressive singing instrument, which is a box of surprises that can meet a wide variety of musical tastes. I actually like this performance mostly due to the warm atmosphere he brings to the stage during the chill moments shared with his fans while he was singing; and you made me smile when your whole face lightened up in reaction to that trumpet entry (I also like that part!). I loved watching some more bits of your very nice skills at the piano and your voice sounds beautiful too, thanks again Sir❣

The most highest note in the World, D8 (4800 hz) vibrato ( dolphin note) by 5 seconds. He’s subsequently said, “this D8 wasn’t planed! “ Is an amazing performance. Dimash's vocal coach said that he most likely didn't even realize what he had just done. He said that the way he kept singing right after kinda proves that. Beautiful song he wrote 🎶💝
@zemanoshtronz

If we check other versions that Dimash sings of this song (which he wrote when he was younger), we can see a melisma or other very beautiful variations in this part of the "whistle". Here, singing on an open stage and with some discomfort in the return (we can see it several times by adjusting the headphones) we realize, in this specific part of the song, that he is going to do something and, not being able to do what he would like (Perhaps the interference of the audience or the inaccurate response of the sound, a fact that impaired his concentration), he then issued this wonderful and historic C#8 modulated to D8, with vibrato! In a more technical analysis, we can see that the notes sound dissonant, as they do not belong to the harmonic field of the tonality of the music. Still, it's a demo of technique! He must have instantly thought, "Since I couldn't do what I wanted, I'll improvise!" So he emitted the inconceivable, supernatural D8 (4698.64 Hz)! Of course, this is a joke to me, but it makes one wonder: What is Dimash's limit?

It is a beautiful song and as always sung by a beautiful voice. I wish I had been there to hear it live. From the video, it has always appeared to me that the whistle note was not planned but a shocking distraction from a mistake. It sounded like his voice cut out moments before. Or at least that is how it appears in the video. If that is what happened it is a demonstration of his professionalism of not allowing a mistake to derail his overall performance.

Hi, Sir Hairless! I was so excited to see you react to the infamous "Unforgettable Day" at Gakku. This is one of my favorite songs from Dimash, but the D8 was unexpected. From my understanding, Dimash was a bit under the weather here, and even though he sounds amazing, just before the lower note he meant to hit, his voice gives out briefly and no sound comes out. In an attempt to try to hit the note, he very much surpasses it and somehow gets to the D8! My favorite versions of this song are from Dimash's digital show in 2021 follwed by the performance at his 2023 Almaty concert. Thank you as always for your wonderful reactions. ❤

I just LOVE your reactions! I normally cannot stay with some analysis' because I just find them so boring on some reactors, but I always stay through every single one of yours because they are so informative and interesting. And I am SOOO glad that you, also, noticed that whistle at the end from the audience because NO ONE ever points that out! Beautiful analysis, as usual! This is one of my favorite Dimash songs.🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍

I still prefer the way he sang this song on Singer 2017. He gave a magnificent performance even without the D8 note. Please react to that one and let us know what you think. Dimash is the master of the pause.

I agree with you that it’s borderline ridiculous... oh well... I guess it’s a wow moment for a lot of people. My goodness! What a beautiful singer he is. Nothing he does is easy and yet he makes it look effortless. Great reaction again SH. Thank you. 🤗

He used whistle notes quite few times, this D8 was just the highest one. I can’t remember now in which songs (performances) this are this whistles, but I know there is one in the duet with Li Yugang. This is mix of Diva dance and YuGang’s song Druncen concubine. It is blend of east and west, blend of two songs … and it is crazy good. kzfaq.info/get/bejne/oKmigbmSvammYJ8.htmlfeature=shared
