With all this snow we've been getting, we figured it was time for us all to slow down and enjoy the finer things in life for a few minutes. What we definitely didn't do was react to "It Happened Quiet" by Aurora.

Play...... Trying to fit her into a box is impossible......IN BOXES is another good song by Aurora. ...About a serial killer.....lol. Should react to Murder 5 4 3,2,1 from the Nobel Peace Prize Concert and then try all is soft inside from kpex session....completely different artist. Could play back to back and some people would not realize it was. ...June 4th. Will be watching this stuff live. Can not wait. And I'm a 52 yr old 80s metal kinda guy. Even have tattoos of maiden, Priest, Floyd and The Beatles.....and I won't be out of place at her show.

I would call it AURORA or QUEENDOM!👍🥰❤️ Great reaction by the way 👍 Aurora is something else 🥰 She captured me years ago, and I’m still captivated 🥰 “In Boxes” is a great song, I’ve explained what it is about in the last comment 👍 If you haven’t seen her singing “Through the eyes of a child” live at Nidarosdomen, then you’ve really missed out of something magical. One of her best performances, in my eyes ❤️

She's currently 25 years old. Other than the "Lefty" environment comment I enjoyed your "Not a reaction" Aurora is very unique and special, and she cares very deeply about that issue (as anyone with a working brain should) It isn't a "Lefty" issue. It's a human issue. With that being said, glad you enjoy her. She's terrific.

Yeah, that comment was unnecessary. I'm a "Lefty" that chose to watch a couple of guys who seem like they're probably into rock music react. Politics had nothing to do with it. I didn't come here for politics... so why he felt the need to alienate me in the first few minutes, I don't know. Well actually, maybe I do know... it's because tribalist politics has so engulfed itself in peoples view of the world, almost as a replacement for religion, it's gotten to the point where people can't simply experience life without constantly looking to pick political fights with others. It's because tearing others down often makes a person feel that they're superior. It's intoxicating... It's a clear sign that the world could use some serious rehab. (Enter Aurora) If tearing others down to feel good about one's self is the only thing a person is living for, then is that benefiting the world in any way whatsoever? Let me ask... why exclude people when you can include them? Why alienate when you can just take off the political glasses for a bit and enjoy the singer with each other and let us see your real reaction to them? No need to keep beating her down for being a "hippy", or a "chick", or a "Lefty". How about building her up for being an amazing artist instead that made you feel something without all the caveats? I hope this guy doesn't take this as an attack on him personally, but rather as a plea. We're all here to watch Aurora sing. What's funny though is you're watching and enjoying a person whose only real goal in her music is to use emotion to promote love of our planet, love of all life, love / healing of ourselves, and love of our fellow man. All things that can improve our individual lives, the lives of others, and the health of the planet. That's all. The more each individual cares about themselves, their fellow man, and their planet, the more hope there is in improving this planet and society. You can downplay that as "Hippie", but you know what I've learned about hippies... they're often very happy with their lives. Most of us have lived lives of constant pain, and that pain has become normal to us. We don't want to change because change is hard, and it would mean we've spent our entire lives on the wrong path. Well... most of us have a lot of life left... we can continue being miserable SOBs for the rest of it and tearing others down, or we can change ourselves and make the most with what we have left. She didn't inject any politics into this song or video. Frankly, she very rarely talks about politics at all. When she talks about the environment, and people, she's often just pointing out what are obviously real problems in our world... and inspiring hope that if people simply cared, then maybe we could finally get this boat moving in the right direction.

I dont agree with ignoring "environmental things", but I liked your reaction or "not reaction" ;) and agree with some thoughts. Also I am waiting for next ones:). Her music is unique and comes from her hearth/soul - also she has very interesting and meaningful messages in her songs , although some lyrics in some songs are not very easy to understand (at last not without longer thinking). She is very expressive and she is able to pass these emotions on listeners (at last it works this way for me and many others). Could give recommendations but it is hard to go wrong with her music. Maybe will recommend under next video (as i will watch for sure) :).

I always am disappointed when reactors feel obligated to make comparisons that make absolutely no sense. You can do research. It has nothing to do with a reaction except to precent stupidity in comments.

I’m sure it was commented earlier but this song is about domestic violence, possibly spousal homicide. Try to resolve the contrast between the ugliness behind the inspiration and the beauty of how it was conveyed.

What I hate: Guys who do a reaction video and celebrate themselves more than AURORA!

So Aurora popped up on my suggestions for almost a year before I listened to her, and I feel like you do about "lefty" environmentals, mostly because they don't practice what they preach. They expect everyone else to conserve while they jet about the world to their multiple houses...but anyhow. Aurora does care deeply about the environment because she cares deeply about humans, and how we treat each other and the world we live in. I find her very refreshing and about as "real" of a person you will ever get to know. Her song the Seed is her most environmental song, and it's spot on and excellent. Aurora for the most part just encourages people to be happy and balanced whatever that may look like.

Ironically, I love that song lol. Also, I kept seeing her pop up in my feed with some thumbnail of her with funky-looking bangs. Lol. I clicked on one and instantly was drawn in

@@UnframeofMind Yeah I ignored her, thinking she was going to be wayyy out there, hippy tree hugger. Boy was I ever wrong. She is my favorite artist now, and just an amazing human being, if she is even human...lol. Enjoyed your reaction.

@@jamesreese4170She's not quite my favorite, as far as female vocalists. That spot is reserved for Hannah Reid of London Grammar. I'd recommend starting with this one kzfaq.info/get/bejne/oNeYmrtyrLaYeKM.html

In hindsight, I didn't do nearly well enough at explaining my thoughts on it. That really wasn't the most important point of the overall reaction though

My apologies for not being more clear on this point. It seems a bunch of people have taken issue with this throwaway comment. To clarify, I also care about the environment, I just don't like the political nature of the topic, the way it has divided people and sometimes I feel like it's being force-fed to us, in general. Thoughts?
