Unicorn Spit Bloom-Did it work? Inquiring minds want to know!!

In this tutorial I was asked by subscribers to try the Unicorn Spit in a bloom. I had to create a alcohol ink with the spit first, so mixed the first batch with four drops of spit and 20 drops of alcohol. That ended up being to light. The second batch I doubled the first batch. That was to strong, it all dropped and prevented the white from spreading. will have to work on the formula, might try mica powder versus pigment paste next time. #resin #resinart

Hi lovely lady, I’ve been away for a few weeks with no internet, oh hell withdrawals, so I have a few videos to catch up on, crazy but working forward to back, silly way of doing if now I need to see how you mixed those alcohol ink colours. The way that video played up was freaky but I wanted to see the outcome so muddled through, it didn’t last long anyway. Still pretty both of them but yeah there is a problem there and I’m not experienced enough to know what it is. Still I enjoyed the video, as I always do your videos, I I love you show the good with the bad believe me it helps us novices. Take care lovely lady and see you again soon. 💕

The blooms are nice but your right the gel like settled weird. I find that with a few different kinds of paints. There was spinning in your video making me ill, sorry but I had to fast forward that part. Keep going girl you'll get it.

Thanks for doing another experiment. The outcome was definitely unexpected, it kind of resembled a puddle pour effect. Almost like the gel, or something in the Unicorn Spit attached itself to the white pigment and isolated it into small cells. Resin experiments are wild sometimes,😆 Every once in a while the results are so curious that I want to sit down with a chemist and ask them “HOW did this happen?!?”🤔 You had both a unique resin result and a unique YT glitch all in the same video!😵‍💫😂 Never a dull moment.. right?😆❤️

WOOHOO i couldnt click on this quick enough when i read the title !!. Thankyou soo much for trying this . I LOVE all your experiments please keep doing more if you want to do more I just love watching what you do <3 . I do have to say though that considering the cost of this and then you have to buy the book that tells you kind of how to use it etc that i think is a bit much. Personally i think it would have been much

I may be entirely wrong here, but by the way the inks looked and the way they acted, especially when being manipulated or touched, they looked like they have some hydrophobic properties (water-repelling, like oil and water, or oil and vinegar). If so, that probably explains why they don’t mix well with alcohol. I wish I knew how to fix that problem (beyond shaking before use), but they didn’t teach us how to overcome that factor when I was getting my degree in pharmacy. I’m not sure my little sister would have an answer I would fully understand (she is a chemical engineer).

I the last person to give advise but, all the blooms i ever seen they take a toothpick,stick ,or something and actually draw petals in the top of the resin.and give the center a real good swirl several times. Dont jnow if this helps or

Question: didn’t you originally say that this stuff was water based or am I mistaken about that? If so, wouldn’t it have issues with resin? I didn’t think water and resin was friends 🤷‍♀️
