We take a quick look at the Unimat SL table saw attachment. We see how to fit the attachment and give a quick test cutting some thin wood.
This attachment is ideal for anyone making model ships, dolls houses, planes, marquetry, boxes or any other models where quick and accurate cutting is required.

Nice introduction to setting up this table saw attachment. A few years ago a good friend of mine gave me a DB200 with a load of machining attachments which I use all the time. I also converted it to CNC. It also has the jig saw and table saw attachments as well. I never had the use for them but now seeing your demonstration I will have to give it a go. Thanks

Concerned the the lathe wasn't chewing enough fingers, Unimat introduced a circular saw attachment! Yippee Yay!

@@machinist_matt Next time. Would the blade benefit from higher rpms? Changing the belts might make it spin faster if the motor had enough torque. Thanks for demonstrating this tool; I've never seen one or how it attaches.

@@pixelpatter01 Possibly! To be honest I didn't play around with the speed much. It just happened to cut nicely at relatively slow speed so I left it. The manual suggests optimum cutting is with a 3.5 inch blade at 1600rpm so you may be correct. 😎
