Speaking of DSi Ware... how do I play DSi enhaced roms on the 3ds... I used your fowarder tutorial and while a majority of games work, some glitch a lot, especially DSi enhanced ones like some pokemon games Do you think uninstalling the CFW, formatting the SD card, then reinstalling Luma and then downloading Twilight Menu would help? It is a previously used console, sold to me already modded, so I assumed that it has been too used and needs to start fresh, even when I put the sd in the computer it says it has problems needing to be fixed and the console sometimes doesn't boot up

cant you just use the consoles reset to factory settings option? found in the systems settings.

My 3ds xl had an issue when loading ds backwards compatible games, it didn't launch them it gave me a generic error, i did the twlfix part of the video and now works perfectly, thx sthetix :)

Your comment about uninstalling just to reinstall firmware (calling me a dumbass) because of a mistake saved me, I fixed my 3ds all by myself with out uninstalling luma. Thanks.

EDIT 2 Never mind I found the DSiWareUninstaller.3dsx on github. I put it in the 3ds folder and it seems to have worked. I seem to be missing the DSiWare Uninstaller. EDIT To clarify, I'm at the part where I open download play. I push L, down and select at the same time. Then I select miscellaneous options then switch the hb. title to the current app. It says operation succeeded. I push b 3 times, home and close the app. When I reopen the app I only have a folder that's named Checkpoint and 3 icons called ctr-no-timeoffset, FBI and slotTool v1.4. I looked through the comments and tried to google this issue to no avail. If anyone can help it will be much appreciated.

Question, if I were to use microSD management to copy the sd card files from my 3ds to my pc as a backup, and then installed hax to my 3ds, will replacing the files in the hacked sd card with the pre hax backup restore the 3ds to when it was not hacked?

this helped a lot because I homebrewed my sisters 3ds so I could get free games but she didn't like it so I had to uninstall it.

I recently bought a 2DS XL from someone and they never mentioned it was modded. I discovered it has Luma installed still even after they formatted everything and some of the things shown in this video aren’t appearing for me. Like specifically, the folder contents are not the same on the SD.

is the format at the end is necessary? and will I be able to fully use online features like pokebank with 100% safety? i want to keep my stuff, just not the hacked software and games.

Are you able to redownload previously purchased games from the eshop or do i have to rebuy them?

What would happen if when you got to the "removing all apps and games" segment, you removed just the cfw apps but kept the games that you loaded from a cia file on the 3ds? would they not be playable?

I don't know if I will get an answer but, after doing this everything works except the eshop icon is not on the home screen and the one on the home options don't do anything.

During the nand backup step, when I try to click on "GM9Megascript" I'm presented with the error "Line:1 unknown cmd" and It just says press A to continue, then takes me back to the Godmode9 homescreen. Any help?

I am currently trying to do this on a new 2ds xl. The console has a problem where it will either boot up to a black screen. If I boot to the Luma menu the same thing happens. Would there be another way to remove the cfw or would I just be stuck here?

Hey, could you help me with a problem I have formatting? I go through the whole process, then got to the format screen, hit the red Format button, but get an error (009-1001), a message says 'The server is currently undergoing maintenance'. Is this a problem on my end?

If you get an Arm11 error on boot at 5:20 after finishing updating system firmware, you'll need to update Luma3DS to fix the error.

Does anyone... ANYONE have a solution to my problem... I was using twilight menu++ and then I closed it and tried opening poke transporter... I reloaded my DS and now none of my 3ds or homebrew apps will show up on the home screen.... I've tried everything I deleted tickets and apps, and I've used faketik, but absolutely nothing works... Would uninstalling homebrew and reinstalling it work? Does anyone know any other solutions? Please?
