it's so cute that these students must be asked to record these videos for class and they have asked their family members to do it. The first pair of girls look like they are sisters, and the second pair looks like mom and daughter. So wholesome!

Actually they are occupational therapy students! You can see in the second clip the girl is wearing and OT shirt. It is a masters or Doctorate level job. The measurements are to see if the patient has full range of motion and strength in each motion of the hand. If they are limited, it could be due to weakness, stiffness, or nerve injury among other things :)
