I could never figure out how Brian Lamb has a longstanding job as an interviewer. He's the worst ever. His questions are so blunt and rapid-fire that he always sounds like an interrogator trying to trip someone up into making a mistake.

I used to look forward to Washington Journal every Friday, when Brian Lamb would interview the guest. Love me some Lamb! Brian is the architect of C-SPAN, and he is the best prepared interviewer and truly apolitical person in Washington. Some of Lamb's interviews with Christopher Hitchens are entertaining and informative even half a century has nearly passed since the first one was recorded. - j q t -
