Kirstie ‘dreamed’ Nadine andToby et al onto the show after giving up on so many couples who cannot see beyond the artex, flocked wall paper and lurid seventies carpet to the bones and heart of a hidden gem:) Well done guys inspiring episode.

I think that this is probably the best of Location Location Location because both couples were wise in their needs and wise in their buying. I looked at that Hall and coming from a construction family background thought OH MY GOODNESS!!! But OH MY GOODNESS they did it!!! Themselves! Both are couples who care for one another and have had vision and so very happy for them both! Nadine and Toby set a very high standard for doing their own renovation as took on such a disheveled, disordered, disorganized, grimy, grubby, littered, muddled, slovenly, unkempt, untidy property and through extremely hard work made it a showcase!! So wonderful to see both couples with their little ones, too. This was such a joy to watch! What an example to other young couples!!!

The absolute best location, location, location, ever! Love how proud Kirstie is of their accomplishment. I know she's a true beliver in adding value by renovations. Even though coming from a well-to-do family, she's done it herself. Just adore Phil & Kirstie. The best presenters! ❤

Thank you for bringing us back to see what these two fabulous couples have accomplished. I saw the original show when Nadine and Tony bought the Masonic Hall property and could not imagine how beautiful the results have become. Both of them put so much work, passion and, of course, money into this project for an amazing new home. The increase in value for their investment is impressive and well deserved. No more beans and toast for this new family!

Very impressive! What Nadine and Toby did was amazing and they tripled the value of their property by all their hard work. I've been there; as a young couple with 2 boys under the age of 5 - our first house had no drains, electricity, water, windows or doors and a tree growing in the kitchen - uninhabited for nearly a hundred years. We lived in a caravan in the garden and did everything ourselves. Since then, there have been other renovations and moving up the property ladder. Now I'm nearly 60 years old and living mortgage-free for several years. It's worth the hard work. But so many young people I meet now want properties in pristine, move-in condition. It's a shame, as you learn skills along the way and save so much money.

When they state "their budget" I'm assuming it's a pre-approved mortgage amount. If they come in under budget the bank doesn't give out the difference in cash towards their renovation. I can't see a British bank being different than other countries.
