Not really. To be honest, anyone who knows about NYC fashion should know that all boroughs or neighborhoods didn’t dress the same in the 80s. For example, just because you didn’t see something uptown Manhattan, didn’t mean dudes wasn’t up on it downtown Manhattan. I first seen New Balance in Paragons in the early- mid 80s . I can’t front though as I didn’t cop them because they were too expensive.
