We all can do something against racism. You too. Join UNESCO and leading personalities from all over the world in denouncing mounting racial discrimination.
This 2’41” black and white video features messages by the following prominent women and men from the worlds of cinema, the media, music, sport and science alongside UNESCO Director-General Audrey Azoulay: Charlotte Gainsbourg, Freida Pinto, Naomi Campbell, UNESCO Goodwill Ambassador Jean-Michel Jarre, UNESCO Artist for Peace Marcus Miller, Jorge Ramos, UNESCO Goodwill Ambassador Yalitza Aparicio, Rossy de Palma, UNESCO Goodwill Ambassador Sumaya bint Al Hassan, Bobi Wine, UNESCO Goodwill Ambassador Herbie Hancock, UNESCO Goodwill Ambassador Forest Whitaker, UNESCO Champion for Girls’ and Women’s Education Nadia Nadim, Amadou Gallo Fall, Ada Hegerberg and UNESCO Artist for Peace Gilberto Gil.
UNESCO has been on the forefront of the fight against racism since its creation in 1945. In 1978, it adopted the Declaration on Race and Racial Prejudice which reaffirms that “All human beings belong to a single species and are descended from a common stock. They are born equal in dignity and rights and all an integral part of humanity.”

Got to enforce as a law. In Singapore, we enforce that regardless of race, language or religion, we will built a fair society.

I am Syrian..and I came to Turkey as a refugee because of the war... I am studying English language and literature in Turkey and I have got the Turkish citizenship despite of that I feel so sad..I still facing the racism in Turkey...not from the government but from the people..the people in Turkey hate the government because it has helped the Syrians...I want to escape from this land...I am exhausted by racism here😔

Certainly humanity has had many problems as a result of this tragic and difficult discrimination for many people, I support this cause and purpose so that there is no inequality between brothers from all over the world. =)

The majority of us believed racism had disappeared because we had come to accept discriminating against people based on their beliefs, ethnicity, and physical characteristics. Due to the normalization of discrimination, we were unaware that we occasionally experience it. As a result, we should not be afraid to speak up for both ourselves and other people. Because ignorance and fear of the unfamiliar are the main causes of racism, we must educate people to raise awareness.

All bigotry is wrong. Racism is just one type of bigotry (based in race). Ethnic bigotry, religious bigotry, sexism, homophobia, are all forms of bigotry that are wrong. We must stand up against ALL bigotry.

I read a kids book about monsters ages ago and there was a line that said ' The colour of your fur doesnt matter, its whats underneath it that matters'. But, skin is under the fur so they basically said the colour of your skin is what matters 🤣 It was honestly so funny when i saw that, its a metaphoric book about racism for kids but that quote contradicted it so badly haha

I stope on hwy 101 near Bandon Oregon, my wife and I are looking for a little place to retire. We live on 101 in Brookings. About 90 miles away. I passed a sign that said for sale, 3.26 acres Oceanview 350 K. So I turned around and went back pulled up in front on the highway, got out and snapped a picture of the sign, and of the dwelling I could see from the road. About that time a gentleman about my age 70 or so came out yelling something at me asking if I had to go P is that the place to go P is a mile down the road. I kindly explained to him I was looking at the property sign. His reply was he did not give a damn he would not sell his property to a spec Mexican even if it was his last breath. By the way I am a Basque with dark skin. But to some people brown is brown. Racism is very much alive in this country. He called the sheriff on me supposedly. I got home OK no problems just a little disappointed. I wish I could give out the number that was on the sign

Asians are nowhere in this UNESCO video. We are nowhere again. This is very discouraging. Anti-racism video shall not start with white people lecturing on anti-racism combat. It's not yet an effective content on this theme. We are still backward on this fight.
