To say Southgate is the best England manager is pure nonsense. Southgate had the easiest draws, played terrible football and won nothing. I feel for Southgate but he wasn't the best England manager I've seen in my lifetime (I'm 41). That title goes to Terry Venables for me. I think the smartest thing to do is wrap up the De Ligt deal while continuing to try convince Yoro to sign. At this point De Ligt is the far better player, if they convince Yoro to sign, fantastic we get a potential superstar to go along with 1 borderline elite CB. If Yoro refuses, disappointing yes but we’ve already got a potentially outstanding partnership in De Ligt and Martinez. Both would be great but I’d take De Ligt immediately
