It's not uncommon for unit to not actually follow best practices when making demos. Sometimes they're just trying to make it work...

@@shizoyd It is and that engine have amazing lighting visuals too but my personal opinion on this matter is that unity is a bit further in this specific area [just my opinion]. Also alot depends on specific artist skills and knowledge becasue lighting in general is one of the hardest areas to master in any kind of 3D software [Gaming, Animation, VFX, CGI etc.] If you are interested in any kind of example you can find alot of comparsion videos anywhere on the internet. The video I specifically liked a lot is from project [ The hall of Paitings by FREETHINK] and you can see it in the video @Unity Guruz provided last year kzfaq.info/get/bejne/qbN5nMKLmJnUm6s.html& especially in timestamps [00:37]

@@shizoyd but you can clearly see when someone is making a "good" game with unreal. always the same boring motion blur and bloom that SCREAMS Unreal! LOL

I believe that more 90% of the unity users are no capable of doing something like that

They can, it's up to developers/artists to take advantage of it. Also remember that the HDRP is a relatively recent feature

MrBratkenSolov Sincerely it does take a lot of time for an Indie to develop such game. I say from my experience, it took me 1 week of 5 hours daily to just tweak the lighting, the textures, the sub textures, blender-shapes Mocap face textures, the renderer, for a character to look like a real life person, in just one scene.

They can, this is what unity can look like with triple A assets and a team of professionals. It's just that most are made by indies with low to no resources.

The person named "dot com" doesn't know what he/she is talking about. You can animate characters directly in Unity. The commentator obviously doesn't know about Unity's Mecanim tool.

Thats what Unity DOTS/the new Job system are for, to make it easier to make your code multithreaded

You guys should really stop with these claims. There is nothing "unholy" or "CGI" like about 5700xt or 1080ti (which is what running the demo). Just acknowledge the fact we are progressing beyond low textures & polygons scenes and moving towards photorealism lightning, models and VFX.

@@sagii86 he just means that that is a beastly gpu, he wasn't claiming they were unholy.
