When out on the water, your cooler usually gets shoved underneath the leaning post. However, this tight space makes it difficult to open the lid all the way when grabbing things from within.
We came up with the perfect solution to this low clearance issue under you leaning post - Cooler Slides!

Do the slide outs have to be greased/lubed with a product for a better effortless motion over time?

Several questions asked regarding foam and all but didn’t hear mention of lag screws with the install of decking installed. Meaning, will the lag screws provided be long enough or strong enough to penetrate the foam and the fiberglass for securing?

I noticed in the video the diagram shows 2.5 inches of width on each side. However you say only 3.5 is needed. Which one is correct. TIA

Rtic ultra-light 52 it's an oddball size but will it work? 25" length 15" depth. I'm guessing a medium?

I have a 13 ft whaler and I’m using a 15 gallon fuel tank under my mahogany seats , was wondering if your cooler slide would help hold the tank securely or do you make a product for that

Hey there Steven, cooler slides aren't designed to hold fuel tanks. It could work, but this is not the intended use for the slides and we cannot guarantee the function and safety of the slides with a fuel tank mounted to it. Do you have a video or suggestion on how to install the tackle storage to the leaning post. I have the cooler slide in place, but I need some suggestions on how to install the tackle storage. I just got the box.

Can you readjust the slide for a different sized cooler without removing it from the boat deck?

I believe you would have to take the whole thing off for a different size as the brackets on the bottom have to be adjusted. I would suggest giving us a call at 866-633-7961 to discuss more in detail :)

Hello BoatOutfitters! What if I don't want to "slide" the cooler but just want to brace/attach it to the aluminum floor on my inflatable boat? Do you guys sell these type of brackets?

Can you stand on the cooler in the open position? Will the slide support a 210 lb dude standing on it? This would be great as my rocket launchers are just out of reach for me.

Hey there AB! You could stand on it, but keep in mind the only thing holding it in the open position is the pin latch. Let us know if you have any other questions :)
