It's absoloutley astonishing how quickly this park is being put together, the carousel will be beautiful! The whole park is going to be stunning! The trees are really making a difference amongst all the dirt and concrete, it's coming alive!

Just like the first Commenter, I too have been following Epic Universe since the beginning back in 2019! I am so excited for this new Universal Studios Theme Park here in America! The first in at least two decades! I can’t wait!

Universal is building attractions and full fledge theme parks far faster than Disney has within the last six years. The theme park news articles I’ve read that have called Universal’s Epic Universe the “Disney killer” are actually starting to become apparent every time I see progress being built on this new theme park. Still though, this park really does put the “epic” in Epic Universe. Looking forward to going there as soon as it opens in Summer 2025.

Here is a bit of silver lining... the last few times Disney responded to universal we got Pandora, Galaxy's Edge Rise of the Resistance, Cosmic Rewind and maybe Toy Story land but I think that was already planned. I am so excited to see EU open in 2025 and I remain hopeful we get some new and great Disney responses (Villains land, Zootopia etc)!

@@LChatmanFL Here's the issue: Of all the Disney expansions you listed there, how many actually were able to stand up to Universal's recent expansions in any form? People liked Pandora, so that lived up to the hype (despite my personal opinions on the land), but the others? Galaxy's Edge was a flop in comparison to what it could have been, Toy Story land is bare and full of low tier rides, Tron took six years to build a clone. One could call Cosmic Rewind a success in terms of thrill, but even it falls under the recent Disney failing of 100% screens/projections. Disney has forsaken practical effects in favor of screens, almost as if they are copying what Universal did 8 years ago. But now that Universal is building rides with practical effects and animatronics? Yeah... the gap is getting dangerously close for Disney.

@@flintlock178I will give you Tron, but. I personally like Galaxy Edge. Having a drink in Olga's is super unique. And you have to admit RoTR is one of the best attractions on the planet. That stormtrooper set you see when the transporter doors open! The ride through the starcruiser! Also, what about the 1st time you saw the Millennium Falcon? And sure Cosmic Rewind uses screens but it is still an awesome coaster. And is Minions Land any better than Toy Story Land? BTW, I love Minions Cafe! I mean it has 3 rides all for kids, so what do you expect...? Anyway, all I am saying is competition is good for theme park fans. Even SeaWorld & BGT have built great new coasters and attractions recently, with more to come. I have been dying to ride Pipeline and can't find the time. And people who know will tell you Gwazi might just be better than Velicicoaster.

I keep wanting to avoid spoilers, but at the same time I've never seen a full theme park built before my eyes. Plus with the aerials it's really fascinating how it all comes together. I think my favourite detail from this update is the street sign for Epic boulevard, so cute!

16:06 I was not expecting the reflective tiles on the Terra Luna and Stella Nova hotels to form a pattern or a mosaic, but when viewed from some of those angles, the ones that have been installed so far look like a supernova exploding in space.

They are 4-5 months ahead of the pace for a summer 2025 opening. They gave that date as an "at the latest" opening. If we don't have more supply chain issues or Covid issues, then they will easily beat their summer 2025 opening timeframe. We do however have a backup at the Panama Canal which could delay worldwide shipping, and mask mandates are starting to pop up again across the US, so we will see...

Same, Pokemon is just too big not to hit. Pretty sure there is a good sized expansion lot next to where they are building nintendoland. But I've heard rumors all over, like the cartoon kid area in islands.

The amount of work and length of time for this theme park is incredible! This truly looks like a multi-generational multi day theme park. Univeral seems like they have the right creative people in the proper corporate positions.

If the HHTYD coaster is going to be named Hiccup’s Wing Gliders, then I think the premise will be that Hiccup has invented a new prototype version of his wing suit to help aspiring dragon trainers (i.e the guests), and he’s inviting us to take it for a little test flight around the land. Astrid will be like Owen Grady, sarcastically warning us that this is a bad idea and we could get ourselves killed. And speaking of how the two dragons on the flat ride seem to be a shoutout to Dragon Challenge, I will laugh so hard if Hiccup says “Everything looks good. I think this time it’s going to work!” just before the first launch.

Looking at those reflective panels on the hotels out front, it looks like they may be huge murals of space when they are all said and done. Seeing from the sky is making it easier to picture. LOVE seeing this park grow, Thank you so much for these videos

I've been there for opening day of Diagon Alley, Galaxy's Edge (both rides' opening days), Pandora, Kong, and Hagrid, I WILL be there opening day for this one. 2 years... Oh boy, you're gonna have so so so many updates for us in these coming 2 years

I really hope this wizarding world at epic has a calm, beautiful broomstick ride comparable to Soarin’ or the Pandora Flight ride. It is a much needed addition to the HP lineup as most of the rides have some level of thrill. Such a concept would be equally welcome at HTTYD land. We could all have our first scenic dragon flight moment like Hiccup.

There was one planned for the wizarding world land, but it’s been cancelled. The plot for that ride is now being saved for future expansion, fingers crossed it’s for Fantastic Beasts, the land has to have a ride on the film that it’s based on.

It's funny, with Disney all i hear are rummors, "announcements" and more speculations. With Universal i hear rummors, and action. Of course this is coming from someone who only checks their KZfaq feed, but i can't express just how wonderful it feels to see new things being built that sound like an adventure. With how popular it will be and initially only having 13 attractions the demand will massively out strip the capacity. I could see a solution where the 1st couple of years the tickets are surprisingly cheaper than the other universal parks but are not quite full day tickets. I.e have 2 sessions a day. Perhaps they open 9am-4:30pm give the majority of the staff there lunch/dinner break then have a evening session 6pm-midnight for the next set of customers. They get a lot more people through gates that way and the guests think they getting a good deal paying less than the other parks and a lot less than disney

I wouldn't say they are screwed. If anything this will push them to innovate, since they haven't really had competition in the theme park space until recently.

The most fascinating places are Stella Nova with its mosaic designs with the "WOW" factor and the Monsters Land which seems unique and original nothing like other theme parks currently have! So pumped for this!

The hotel tiles is really neat. I wonder if they are numbered and come in boxes by rows to help keep them in order. Crazy it's being done piece by piece, but will be stunning when it is completed.

I was at Aventura last night and you could easily see the airtime hills on Starfall from my hotel room window. Crazy how impressive it is from miles away.

This is coming along almost ahead of schedule it seems…my only nit pick is I think this park is going suffer by only have 1 water ride on opening day…would of been cool to have the creature from the black lagoon open as well instead of a phase 2 expansion

They want to keep the expansion for somwthing new wveey couple of years I imagine another park of some sort will open in the next ten to fifteen years, and then they will build a second city walk to connect the two parks

Some videos around this park... I just can't listen to the narrator but this is great. Good level of tone and doesn't waffle on too much. Just updates us on exactly what we want to hear! The only thing I would say is turn the music volume slightly lower. But that is just me. Thanks Theme Park Stop!

I wonder how much a 3 park 1 day VIP tour will be now! Did it for Hagrids. It was $250 on top of the park price, I wonder if they will even offer this at first.
