There’s a difference between being still born and not existing. The text does not say, “It would be better if he did not exist.”

Very good stuff here brother. You are very clear and insightful. I'm in 100 perfect agreement. I really like how you explain how heaven as a place is really the manifestation of a will. In other words, in order to be in that place you must resonate with it.

TY for all your work from Harford County, MD. I just discovered your channel this week, yet it's already blessing me richly! ☀️💙🙏🌻🌈🍁 Idk if you've already covered these ideas in other videos, but I'd appreciate your thoughts on the following: 1. What we should make of Jesus saying it'd be better if Judas had never been born? 2. Your own journey of belief in Christian universalism (e.g., have you always believed in it? If so, why? If not, what led you to form your current beliefs, and how has that journey felt?) 3. How Christian universalism can offer hope to people facing different challenges in our everyday lives. I share #3 for rather personal reasons. My uncle passed from an overdose in January, and I've been seeing a friend I love like family and who once expressed beautiful faith suddenly make some tough choices. Both my uncle and my friend come from traumatic backgrounds. While I know we all still hold responsibility for the choices we make, I wonder how many of their decisions have stemmed from past hurt (Jesus' "forgive them, for they know not what they do" prayer has come to mind for me as I've grieved for each of them.) And in any case, I still love both of them dearly, and I know I'd find indescribable comfort if I knew I'd ultimately be reunited with them as people who fully live in/from God's love someday. I'd imagine many viewers could share similar stories-- and draw similar hope from Christian universalism for others on their 💙s.

How would you respond to someone saying all of the universalizing language is referring to the universal *redemption* from the dead alone (such that all will experience resurrection), but that the judgement to follow then does not indicate universal *salvation* ? Thanks.

I think the biggest problem with this debate is it is shrouded in lots of ambiguity and confusion. For example the “every knee shall bow and every tongue confess”, I myself have wondered what’s the heart poster of those bowing. Is it all in agreement and following of Christ, or as some ppl think, an involuntary act of submission. I want universalism to be true for personal reasons, but I hate how damn hard it is to make any good knockdown arguments for anything. It’s all just so ambiguous
@trappedcat3615
@trappedcat3615 Ай бұрын
The Greek word for bow is often used to mean worship, including in the septuagint. Also, Paul is quoting from Isaiah 45, and the context there is talking about the salvation of the ends of the earth. 'Come unto me, all the ends of the earth and be saved...'

Do you know God as verse 8 say? Because your local pastor or pope could not by no means show you God. Do you think God that will burn and torture His own children is the same as God who was tortured for His children? Do you know Isa 54 : 10 chapter after famous 53 that speaks about Cross of the Lord Jesus Christ and showing us that God will establish Covenant of peace that will never end? And that prophecy is fulfilled Col 1:20 and by Him to reconcile ALL THINGS TO HIMSELF , by Him, whether things on earth or things in heaven, having made peace through the blood of His cross. So Covenant of peace is established,the one that will never end,and man still speaking about ``end of Grace`` ``wrath`` This verse clearly say God will reconcile things only by the blood of the cross..Not wrath.. So do you think you know God. How does the 2nd thess ends? 2Th 3:16 Now may the Lord of peace Himself give you peace always in every way. The Lord be with you all. What is the wisdom from above? James 3:17 But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, willing to yield, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality and without hypocrisy. James 3:18 Now the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace by those who make peace. Who are those that will figure this out and start to believe TRUE EVERLASTING GOOD NEWS ,and proclaim to people in fear of false gospel of condemnation : If you dont do,you will not? Mat 5:9 Blessed are the peacemakers, For they shall be called sons of God. Get to know God....The rest will just be crystal clear.

Convince them to believe in a religious lie. Ask of God to teach you the truth,and to remove all false believe you have...When The Father start to teach,after year or so you can answer all..Even this lake ,I can approach from many angles..Its al lot of symbology that God use to show us His work,and His work is ``Making man in His own image`` But man is blind and try to make himself in Gods image.. Lake of fire is simply symbolic of Baptism of Spirit and Fire... Water/Spirit - Fire/ The Word Golden lamp stand /Church is nowhere because its been purified..To become City of PURE Gold...Not just gold..its not enough. Ephesians 5:26 that He might sanctify and cleanse her with the washing of water/Spirit by the word, John 6:63 Ephesians 5:27 that He might present her to Himself a GLORIOUS church, NOT HAVING spot or wrinkle or any such thing, but that she should be HOLY and without blemish. ...and showed me the great city, the HOLY Jerusalem, descending out of heaven from God, Rev 21:11 having the GLORY of God. Her light was like a most precious stone, like a jasper stone, clear as crystal. ....and the city was PURE GOLD, like clear glass. Ancient goldsmith used fire and sulfur/brimstone to make a pure gold The gold was heated until it melted and the impurities, called dross, would float to the surface and would be skimmed off. This process was repeated until the dross was all gone and the refiner could see his reflection in the gold. That is when the ancient refiners knew it was pure. -until the dross was all gone and the refiner could see his reflection in the gold = see image of Himself - Man in His own image

Right. Unitarianism if that’s a good distinction to describe that belief assumes that all will be in paradise after death and that not one person will face rebuke. It also seems to lean towards all religions generally being comparable or equal in their goals and motivations, which I also do not think is true. I end up preferring the description of ultimate reconciliation or restoration to describe Christian Universalism, since it separates from the other that it can easily be conflated with.

Your exposition on "draw" sounds a lot like Wesleyan prevenient grace, resistable grace, and dependant on human effort or our availing ourselves of an offered opportunity, an uncertainty until we (not Christ) make it effectual. 🤔

You ignored the fact that Jesus told us explicitly what would happen when all men appear before him: some will go in into everlasting torment prepared for the devil and his angels, some will go to life. You contorted one passage that did not deal directly with eternal destination from John, while ignoring the passages that deal with it directly. You will be responsible on the last day for anyone you have led astray or to whom you have given false hope. There is forgiveness in Christ if you will repent of this false teaching, but do so quickly! This is not simply a slightly different way of looking at things, this is giving false hope of life to a dying world. You are playing with fire.
@CTomCooper

For argument’s sake, there would just as well be the very real possibility of rebuke when looking at holding to a doctrine of eternal conscious torment. Personally when I was looking at the Pharisees who were self-righteous who hated Christ because he ministered to all, that at least for myself caused me to reflect upon what their beliefs were closer to compared to what it is we’re presented with in different schools of Christian thought today. I’m convinced that the fundamentalist or hyper legalistic view is in fact the Pharisaical view transferred into a modern age. What’s more, Jesus even ministered to the Pharisees, and at least some repented. How one judges others is how God in turn will judge them. How one bestows mercy upon others who are broken in spirit is in turn how God will bestow mercy. Jesus’ own words highlighted how this action and behavior was not dependent on reciting a doctrinal confession of faith-in fact, those who claimed to know Him were judged more harshly for having only done works in self-righteousness with the expectation of receiving a reward, rather than doing works out of a God given love for their neighbor and in particular the broken in spirit whom God’s Spirit dwells close to. That desire to be rewarded, confusing that as the message of the gospel, replaced the love of mercy in their hearts. To those who did not even know His name Jesus told them “you did these things unto Me”. Does that sound like a God who will only judge a portion of people favorably only if they’ve professed with their mouths, while the rest of humanity who hasn’t done so only serve to be in contrast to display God having favor? That is not glorifying God. That is mistakenly glorifying oneself. We should be different from the pharisees at the very least in behavior and actions, but with maturity just as much so in understanding and wisdom.

Actually Jesus said : ``My word will judge you`` John 15:3 “You are already clean because of the word which I have spoken to you. So you dont have to be rocket scientist to figure it out what will happen when they hear His word judging them.. And He said in graves - all will hear..John 5:28 What He left us is that we now can be judged and never see the grave John 5:25...But people are blinded by religious garbage about life after d34th
