What is important to you when choosing a study? Do you mainly look at what you're good at, where there are a lot of job opportunities, or what you enjoy? Atay had a great interest in language and culture when he was young: playing historical games online, acting, reading, and writing poems. He even reached the regional rounds of Kunstbende with his work! Yet, initially, he chooses to study Law. He's taught at home that you should mainly choose a study with good job prospects. After a year, it becomes clear to him. His passion lies elsewhere; his motto is "Laissez-faire". Do what you enjoy and what you feel like doing. Follow your interests, and you'll naturally end up in the right place. Atay is following a Bachelor in History at Leiden University.
