As 1st time teacher ba? If yes, better kung meron kang at least 2 years professional experience na related sa gusto mong ituro bago ka mag apply as college teacher. And best kung over the work experience ay naka enroll ka na rin sa isang masters program na related or aligned sa gusto mong ituro.

🤣 pwede mo naman ilagay sa cover letter mo anu ano yung forte mong courses na ituro. In my experience, kapag 1st sem mo eh sila ang nagbibigay ng courses. Pero pwede ka naman tumanggi kung hindi ka confident talaga. Ayun lang kung hindi na available yung forte courses mo kasi nabigay na sa ibang teacher, less yung teaching load mo that sem.

Yes, go na yan. Some uni naman would accept incoming grad school enrollees for faculty. Not sure tho sinu sino yun pero meron naman. Basta assure mo lang silang mag eenroll ka nga talaga

They will tell you in advance. Usually 10-15mins demo. For most of my demo, they gave me the liberty to choose. Some would tell you specific topics but it's a rare instance in my experience.

Napakagandang tanong haha walang job security ang university teachers hanggat hindi sila MA/MS degree holder and hindi pa tenured. Kaya lipat lipat lang ako kung saan mas mataas ang sweldo or kung mababa man ang sweldo pero mas fit ako sa setting as a human being.

Pre-pandemic, kanya kanya kaming materials. Starting 2020, everything is provided by the schools na but we can add naman. Add lang, we're not allowed to skip any material na provided nila.

@@user-dk8tk4cf9i yes kailangan pa rin gumawa ng TOS. Most schools meron ng prepared exam pero hindi required gamitin, you could make your own if you want.

Sa grading system naman po. Paano po yung system, may class record po ba or excel file na formula or may portal po sila na iinput na lang yung mga grades? And sa activities na ibibigay po sa mga students need pa rin po ba ng rubrics? Salamat po

8 lecture classes yun. Kung meron nakahalo na laboratory, iba iba kasi ang number of units ng lab classes

@@ynaxpot we give our availablity and the courses we specialize sa program chair namin. Meron mga university na okay when it comes to schedule and courses distribution sa faculty at meron din mga university na not so okay, like in any job naman hehe

Oo mababa pasweldo sa karamihan ng manila uni in my experience, private man or public. Ang daming requirements na personal gastos ng individuals kagaya nga ng pag grad school. I dont know kung kailan ang ROI kapag uni teacher ang trabaho.

​@@MargaeryGaudierI feel sorry for all the Filipinos who spent a lot of money out of their pocket and dedicated a lot of their time to work on their credentials but ended up getting underpaid by these abusive schools. No wonder a lot of our kababayans try their luck in neighbor countries like Thailand where you can get paid way higher than what an instructor 1 in the Phil. make and Thailand doesn't even require a masters degree for English Teachers. Also, you don't have to be an English major. I hope you find a better opportunity somewhere else, teach. There's no life in this country. It's just horrible. I wish you luck! 🙂
