Right now, I only have 3 scheduled re uploads left! They are Texas A&M, TCU, and Tulane! I might add one or two more, then it will be back to FCS! I am planning on re uploading the last fight song before the end of September!

I think that this is a very good fight song. Very catchy. Maybe not buying into the NY6 hype for the Jayhawks, but I'll be invested to see how far they go this year

Love how they they changed the lyrics to reflect the current Big 12 teams, but forgot to remove the Missouri Tigers, and the Sooners and the Longhorns will be leaving soon. Lol

I think you confused the lyrics. The beginning lyrics in this video are a part of the song that isn’t played by the band, and aren’t traditionally sung or included in common practice. The lyrics should go as follows: “’Cause I’m a jay, jay, jay, jay Jayhawk up on Lawrence, on the Kaw. ‘Cause I’m a jay, jay, jay, jay, Jayhawks with a sis-boom-hip-hoo rah, Got a beak that’s big enough to twist the tigers tail. Shuck some corn and listen to the Red Raiders wail, ‘Cause I’m a jay, jay, jay, jay, Jayhawk, riding on a Kansas ‘gale.” (x2)

The intro lyrics are only played in the oral version of the song, you’re completely right about that the band version just skips straight to I’m a jay jay jay jay jayhawk
