Hey guys!
This is an updated video of the freshman residence hall West Hall at the University of North Texas. I work as a Housing Ambassador and give tours to prospective students and parents. Now that it’s COVID and people may not be able to take the time to come to the campus for a tour, so I have been as thorough as I could be in giving a full hall tour.
If anyone has any specific questions or concerns that I have not mentioned in this video I am more than happy to answer them in the comments section. Do you guys want to see the other residence halls? Do you want a detailed video on what you can and cannot bring to the residence halls at UNT? Let me know down below!

Tysm for this me and my friend are incoming freshman for the fall 2022 the hall looks great ! I’m just nervous cause it’s far from the main campus 😭I feel like imma get lost

Lol campus seems really big at first but once you get used to it it's a snap to get around. Before classes start you guys should explore campus and get familiar with the area! Makes your first week less stressful

not bad even a little. I like not having to clean my own bathroom and I never had an issue with finding a shower or the bathrooms being crowded.

I loved living in west hall! The community bathrooms weren't bad because they were clean and I liked not being responsible for it. The RA's and other staff are super friendly and try really hard to build community in the hall. Imo the best dining hall is eagle landing. Most variety

How similar is a triple to a double at west? (Obviously a third bed lol but other than that)

There is no residence hall specifically for science and med majors. I'd suggest picking a hall based on your personality type instead. Whats your year and What kind of atmosphere are you looking for? I can help narrow it down.

@@collegiatefinesse i’ll be a freshman for fall 2022. me and my friend are both going for pharmacy and i chose unt because i honestly love the school and wasn’t too picky about my major because i still am a bit undecided. i don’t like things too quiet but also sometimes peace is nice. i also really liked west hall and bruce hall because the dorm rooms were nice but i don’t want things to be too far away from where my classes would be so really im open to any dorm hall option as long as it’s double occupancy!! :)) thank you!!

Welcome to UNT! So based on what you said I have a few options. West Hall is great and I stayed there, only issue is that it is far away from main campus, but the walk isnt bad it just feels long when you dont know your way around. Rawlins is good if you both want to be in the Honors College. Joe greene is the newest hall and right next to a dining hall and pretty close to everything. All of those halls arent too big, but they have good communities. Just make sure you and your preferred roommate set up your housing ASAP. Maaaaany times I've had to console incoming freshmen because they didnt get their housing taken care of early and they were put on waitlists and couldnt get the roommate they wanted. Sorry for the long post but I hope that helps ❤
