They just need to multiply elim points by something, like the final result, for example. For instance: 10 kills x top 50 = 100 pts 10 kills x top 6 = 800 pts And introduce a hard multiplier for the top 3: 3 kills x top 2 = 1200 pts 3 kills x top 1 = 1500 pts With this process, every W-key player will be punished or rewarded depending on whether their plans work or not. However, late-game players will still earn high elimination points when they succeed in making a kill. They need to add a banner around the profile and statistics so players can show off to their friends. They should provide a skin to everyone each season, with customization based on the highest rank achieved. AND THEY MUST never forget why people play in competitive. If ranked doesn't resemble the pro-competitive side, players will never identify with the professional scene and begin to try hard in this mode. When I watch professionals play in events, I MUST be able to open the ranked mode of this game and attempt to emulate what I saw. Otherwise, it's just not the same game. Players are fans, and fans emulate what pros do.

i actually like ranked, i’m in elite and feel like the skill level of my lobbies is on average much higher than what i’d get in arena. i don’t play that much anymore this season as you mentioned there’s not much of an incentive to go past platinum. I’d suggest Epic make the reward of getting to Unreal an automatic qualification past round 1 of FNCS. Raise the FNCS qualification to diamond from platinum, also they should just add siphon back at this point it was nice how it played out in FNCS yesterday

Ranked is pretty good but they should make it so you get placement points, its painful getting to 3rd or second with like 5 elims of drop and losing % just because you got your kills early in the game

Ranked is fixed by 2 simple things. Put $1,000 prize pool for whichever teams get unreal #1, 2 and 3 at the end of the season (along with a point system similar to arena once someone reaches unreal to keep accurate track of whos doung the best.) This Makes it worth grind and its cheap for epic. 2. Add siphon.

I never understand why the Devs at epic take a 3 week break but the only thing they got to do is just add siphon and not add some random new thing that will ruin the gamemode

great video brotha, i honestly think they should just bring back arena, ranked has way to many issues, no siphon has kind of killed the want to, to even grind it. like you said the games are not great at all, theres maybe a few more players per zone than pubs, just with no bots... idk. i enjoyed arena way more, and have had prior seasons of 100k 80k etc points in arena... i know they wanted to try something different, but i also think its time to admit that it just didnt work, and revert back

I had a glitch in my second to last game where I tried to open one of those vaults in the jungle and then I couldn’t look around and had to die and rebooted which griefed me.

I got 200 points in 6 games we didn’t die off spawn and when we died off spawn it was kids hiding in the most weird spots ever. I also had No surge in a single game

I’m personally enjoying playing ranked with friends hitting unreal is fun.I also don’t play any tournaments but still like to be competitive so climbing the ranks is fun

I have sort of been liking ranked when my motivation is high, but it would be so much better if you didnt lose so much percentage just by killing some people early on then finishing late in the game without killing anyone else, I liked how arena had the same reward for any kill, unlike ranked

honestly any rank that you get at the end of the season you should get a weapon wrap connected to the rank you had or a pickaxe at least just like rocket league where you get a prize for the comp rank you get

If ranked wasn't just pubs with benefits, then I would actually enjoy it more. I'm glad that they made some adjustments, but siphon does need to be back in some sort of form. Just a few things and then i might day it would be better than arena. I just don't want it to feel like pubs mainly. If I'm trying to play pubs to have the opportunity to make earnings, then what's the point? That part is just stupid to me.

I honestly hate ranked, arena was funner and there was no cap for points which allowed for people to compete for the most arena points like martoz and some other people who was able to get their name out that way.

in oce its impossible to get solo games once you reach diamond, back when arena was around, people actually played for endgame to an extent and it was decent tournament practice but ranked just feels like pubs

I like ranked, but I’m champion in zb and after they released that patch it seemed literally impossible to gain percentage even after a good games. I got a 7 elim 5th place and did not gain or lose anything

It would be so sick if they had a skin you could grind for in Ranked. Like you get the skin in Elite and unlock styles for getting Champ and Unreal. That and add siphon and remove the weapons that aren't competitive. Really, that's all players are looking for- but Epic will do anything but listen to their community, so here we are. Also, bring back skin cups- its been a while since we've had one.

I’m diamond one and I’m playing solos and I get like 10 to 20 minute queues so I don’t grind and my first game I got silver 2 from a 6 kill 4th and one of my games I got 4 kills of spawn and died and still lost points

i hope epic can fix everything that needs to be fixed like servers ranked and etc. but what i hope the most is this jungle in the middle of the map to be gone next season for real last season there was not a single guy i know who drops bellow 240 this season most of my friends who are with 3060 struggle to even hold 144 on normal settings

The way to fixed rank is having more gain for good games and slightly less loss for bad games. Rn it's insane that we are dropping 70% for one bad game. They should also add a skin or somthing that you have to grind for, or that upgrades as you go up in the rank system.

I've just made platinum 2, but every few games I get players who are dropping like 18+ kill games because they're just skipping every 2 games to farm a rank lower than what they should be. There's nothing you can even do to fight them and it just kills the game. But idk how they could even fix this

They should make a sweaty ranked skin that you had to get a high rank to get and they should make it that you could go down from unreal and that way people will fight to keep there spot at the top

I waited for my duo for 30 mins after fncs started and he messaged me saying he couldnt play and that he got sick so i got a random teamate and got into a game but when i was in the game, he invited me and said that he meant sike instead of sick 😢

If siphon is added to ranked, and ranked had the same lootpool as comp, it would be better than arena in my opinion .

Personally I think that ranked needs a lot of work put into it in order to stand out in the competitive scene and epic doesn't seem to intend to listen to the community's suggestions and make the ranked system better. If they somehow fix it, I think ranked is going to be better than arena but otherwise they should just bring back arena, it was so much simpler and worked out perfectly

I want arena back because if you die off spawn you lose like 50% but if you die off spawn with like 1 or 2 kills you still either stay the same precent or you go down so it’s kind of terrible in my opinion

Ranked is dead ngl, have to wait an hour for a solo queue and even then I’ll be lucky to get a game. Duo queues are maybe 5 - 8 minutes for a queue if lucky but after like 9pm no one is playing

Top 100 or 1000 unreal get some minor earnings might make games more fun and add motivation idk
