Tried finding stall throttle position and it makes it really easy when you get it right I was cutting the throttle and guessing the time to apply rudder and was getting no consistency. Thanks for the tip it really has helped

A wing is not "stalled" during a Stall Turn! Check the definition in Basic Aeronautical Knowledge books

This is true, since the angle of attack is not increased to prohibit the wing from producing lift. This is, however, a zero airspeed maneuver. So, since the plane is at zero airspeed and the wing is not producing any lift can we agree that calling it a stall is not completely absurd? Or do we argue over whether or not the wing is actually a wing in the moment?

I'll have to try constant throttle next time. I've been trying the hammerhead in DCS World in the F-14B. The big issue is that the 14 is a big bird and even at 50-70 knots, I've got next to zero authority with the rudder. I've been putting burner in on one engine to get it to rotate. Constant throttle would help on spool time on the opposite engine for helping counter rotate along with being more smooth on the way up. I should defuel a bit and figure out a lower minimum recovery too. Thicker air might help because 15000 AGL may be too thin. I'll keep working on it.

I like the differential thrust approach. Remember, with a turbing aircraft the air is not flowing over the rudder as it would be on a propeller plane.
