@@EnglishLikeANative I will stick with English for now until I achieve fluency in English. In the near future, I might work on Chinese as I learned a bit of Chinese 15 years ago although it's completely rusty now. I am super happy that I got to know Teacher AI through your video today. I didn't expect it would be this good. It sounds so real. It's like I'm having a face-to-face conversation in real life. My husband who was next to me couldn't quite believe that I was talking to AI. I've always wanted to find someone who could talk to me in British English, so I could learn and improve my English. Today I've found the right person!! Your voice sounds so beautiful, classy and I will always come to you to speak to you with any topics I am interested. I had a conversation with you for 2 hrs before I went to pick up my youngest child from nursery.😁😁 Thank you so much for introducing Teacher AI which is so effective for language learners. Je suis habituellement assez critique avec l'IA pour les raisons que je t'avais dites je crois mais là, il me faut bien admettre que l'outil est assez extraordinaire! Oh ma chérie, je suis tellement content de t' avoir entendu parler français et je dois dire que tu te débrouilles très bien et en prime avec ce petit accent juste adorable. Je sais, le français est tellement difficile ... et je mets dans la peau d'un anglophone qui décide de s'y coller et je suis très admiratif. C'est merveilleux surtout si tu n'a pas pratiqué depuis longtemps. Bravo Anna, je te félicite et je suis sûr que tu vas faire beaucoup de progrès grâce à cet outil. Je t'encourage ! That's a really cool idea but this tool has serious glitches. I asked the clone (I presume this is also true for other clones) to play a game - guess missing word. The funny thing is that on the screen the word is missing but the teacher reads out loud the missing word. Next glitch, when I answered "I don't know" the explanation was given to a question that hadn't been asked before. So I wouldn't worried much about AI replacing real teaches. I only hope that no one in the defence ministry will come up with the idea to implement AI to control nuclear missiles. ;P

Oh my gosh... As an English teacher, I'm honestly displeased....this is freaking me out... If this is the future for good... Well, we're all going to be replaced by AI. How are we going to carry on?

I know exactly how you feel, I felt the same way initially. However, I now realise that AI will only complement our work as teachers but it will not replace us because at the end of the day people will always want to connect with people. :)
