The Leveling feature is tied to the DMW system which allows players to level up Zack using the STORED EXP.
There are a few ways to quickly farm EXP to reach Max Level, such as defeating special enemies in a particular side mission called the Scissor Chitins.
These enemies provide a huge amount of EXP but will require some powerful materia and attacks to farm efficiently with ease.
Lastly, players can also steer the DMW’s ‘777’ combination in their favor by equipping accessories such as the Cursed Ring.
Mog’s Amulet
Effect: LCK +5; items dropped or stolen will always be rare.
Location: Buy at Sec.7 Shop (10,000 Gil), reward from Mission 7-6-4.
Blast Wave
Effect: Enables attacks that blast the enemy out of the battle area.
Location: Reward from Mission 3-3-6, in chests in Mission 7-5-5 and 7-6-4.
Goblin Punch
Effect: Enables special attacks that deal non-physical/non-magical damage.
Location: Reward from fully clearing Waterfall Minigame (Chapter 9),
complete 55% of all missions, reward from Mission 4-5-4.
Costly Punch
Effect: Enables special attacks that expend HP to deal non-physical/non-magical damage.
Location: Materia Fusion (Any Punch materia + any DMW materia), in chest in Mission 9-5-4.
