For typical food from various locations all over India, you have to visit that state or location only. But when the person from that location starts at another location or have to migrate city side then he has to adjust the food with local preferences. अब काटियावाडी में कहां आमरस आता है लेकिन मुंबई या पुणे में चालू करते है हॉटेल तो लोकल प्रेफरन्स के साथ जाना पडता है. This is the answer to one comment which was on top. अलका जी आप अच्छा डिस्कव्हर कर रहीं है हमेशा.. सो आप ऐसे कॉमेंट्स को साईड में रखा करो. Good one. I will visit definitely.

You should study properly what is kathiawadi food..there is vast difference between kathiawadi and Rajasthani..there was not one thing which was kathiawadi..you are misleading people because of your wrong knowledge..check it out.. disappointed

Food items from other states served in mumbai have no original tastes from those states..it has Mumbai flavour. The local water makes tastes Different .

I absolutely agree with you. Also, food is customised to suit Mumbaikar's taste buds. But those food items definitely give a feel of that particular state so trying them for a change is not bad
