It’s always surprising seeing how differently people play the game. At the start of this video, Jay and I are the same level, but I’m only at A+, while Jay is at S+6. However, I have every weapon and an extra 36 Sheldon licenses (I have every weapon at 1 star). Edit: additionally, Bamboozler was the worst to get to 1 star for me.

A quick tip for anyone needing to farm like JayMoji Splatoon 3 S+: Grind out one star freshness on weapons in addition to leveling up. You probably have a few lying around with like 5000 points that you can get to 1 Star in like 3 games. Choose a level up drink ticket, and play weapons to get their freshness up. I’ve been doing this for a week, and I’ve earned 14 licenses

This seems to be actually a common mistake, even i did at the beginning. Freshness (as in stars) are very misleading for weapons! They calculate total experience gained with a weapon, you can see for yourself by the last digit of the xp bar being 0 or 5 (5 being due to ranked giving you 5 points per 1 point off of remaining) Meaning that to get freshness 1* you need to get 10k experience with each weapon, not turf. It also means you need to get like a million xp with the weapon if you want to get the 5* badge!

Is anyone else doing random things while they’re watching this and Jay goes “hold on HOLD ON HOLD ON “! I stopped dead in my tracks and go “OK. DAMN!”

Getting licenses will be hard if you just are using the same weapons all the time. But, if you use the new weapon you just bought and use it for a few games, you’ll have another license in no time. Rinse and repeat

Gonna be honest as a bloblobber main the best ranked mode for that weapon is splat zones Everything in its kit is pretty good for painting

I barely even have any weapons I should really farm more liscenses

I want to bless y’all with this knowledge. Weapon freshness is not based on turf points, contrary to popular belief. It is just based on you playing the game, and you get more points for winning. That’s the simple answer. So in reality, you can progress your various weapons’ freshness at the same speed since it isn’t based on turf points.

I am from the future, and big swig roller is very underrated. It’s great at walling out opponents and clogging choke points. Also a very supportive weapon being able to farm vac to help pushes and save teammates from sticky situations. You are welcome

I'm a bamboo main and I have to say you did a small disgrace today. It's the only charger where you almost never want a partial charge. But also thanks for playing my favorite weapon.

hi jay!!! i play bloblobber and something i highly recommend for gear is ink saver!! its a life saver when youre covering turf, and i have it as main on all my gear! youre actually super slick with bloblobber too!! i play on clam blitz with it and although i dont do rank often im not in the negatives and im at c+! i get on average 25 kills in a ranked match, and around 10 or 9 with lots of turf coverage. Keep practicing!!
