Nina's chat with Tanya was probably the most tear jerking I've seen in this series. The other chats were also very rewarding. One of the most enjoyable groups to watch in terms of progress of ending the problem they came into House of Tiny Tearaways for. "I love being a mum now!" What an achievement for Nina. I hope things went well once she went home.

Ethan is such a clever little boy. Its like after a couple days if struggle he understood what what was going on and tried some foods then realized ,"Hey this is pretty good" and he's been a real success story. Four plates of a roast dinner on day 5 - congratulations Ethan & Family.

I love the comments from other people. I’ve been watching all the series and so many people comment that “their children never had any problems and made rude comments about the moms”. It sickened me. Imagine if we all treated parents the way Tanya treated the parents, with love, support and what has worked for us and empathy instead of judgement? Look at other comments on other series segments to see what I mean, it’s so sad. I am so happy to see people on this page be so positive, empathetic and caring. This is what we all need, whether it is support for children, in our marriages or life in general. Well done everyone, well done! 😊

What a great series this has been. I sometimes think new parents should watch these shows to give them some information they may or may not need as they travel along the parenthood road.

Hearing these parents take full responsibility for the way they have been, and for their ongoing lives, is so heartening. Raising small humans is such a challenge. Well done, all.

My grown children have so much admiration for me because I allow conversations about their perceptions of their childhoods and I apologize for whe;I was wrong or said hurtful things. I never discount their feelings. I also verbalize how proud I am of them as humans, parents, sons, daughters, partners. Parenting is a trip que no?

Nina brings out the mother in me. I hope the people in her life were similarly affected to offer a kind word of support when needed when she returned home. Nina learned the skills but it can be difficult like she said. I believe she continued on as a success story. Would Tanya send her home without any followup support on a local level? Certainly not. Something was setup to to help Nina continue to parent the way she wished to. She's a lovely girl who needs the love of her two little girls as much as they need her.

I always fall in love with the children who come into the House. It seems this group of parents, particularly the moms, bonded and supported one another tremendously. It just felt like they truly had each other's back and they all pitched in to help one another. I truly hope things worked out well for Nina and her girls - they stole my heart. I always wonder if there is any type of ongoing support once they leave the House?

I wanted to be glib and say it would have been his loss initially but seeing how loving he is towards Ethan, it would have been a deficit to the entire family. I've never seen a child with an eating problem get turned around like Ethans. Wasn't it incredible?

I hesitate to say this but I don’t have confidence in Nina. People don’t change in a major way in a few days…from hatred & zero patience to what I hear her saying at 31 minutes….especially when you have a child that screams at every turn. Hope things got better, for their sake. Edited to add…I’ve known people with horrible upbringings who chose to have children & CHOSE to bring them up differently…BETTER than they’d been. If you know you’re damaged goods, & you know you have anger issues…please don’t have kids.

It’s not violence when a 2 year old hits someone.
@maburg713
@maburg713 2 жыл бұрын
No, but the of hitting someone to "get your way" begins very young, and if you allow that thought to thrive, kids WILL take that as your tacit approval that ^hurting^ someone -- as long as you've got your reasons, is perfectly okay. That may not be a big deal at 2 yrs old, but it damn sure will be when they're 16 or 17, and YOU are the target.
