For handguns, broadside heart shots are where it's at IMO. Hard-cast bullets have all the penetration you need to go in one side and out the other, you have the leg right there as a point of reference to make it easier to get your aim down, and you'll tag both lungs as the bullet passes through. It's amazingly reliable, and you can punch up to class 3 animals with the .357 once you get it down.

Yeah, pistols is kinda OP compared to guns... the Rhino is a beast to use.

The .44 is modeled after a Ruger Super Redhawk which is pretty cool. I have one I am going to try to take a deer with this season. Might take my regular Redhawk without a scope too, not sure yet

i never used the panther. i unlocked the better rhino ammo today.

I used the .44 to grind up to the .454 Rhino. :D Just got my first diamond cape buffalo with the .454. I aimed for heart but got double lung. Still got 90% quick kill and he scored 963. Would've scored 988 with 100 quick kill. :)

when it comes to handguns on my fresh game I've been using the mangiafico 410/45 using it for rabbits, foxes, coyotes and deer, dropped everything so far. 410 for rabbits 45 for everything else.

If you have it, use the 45/410 instead of the 357. Definitely makes it easier starting out with gaining handgun score.

I’m working on getting my weapon score up and I have the 44 Wildcat Magnum but not the Panther Magnum. These are the same power and gun right? PS I love your videos and have helped me since I started the Hunter COTW this summer.

There is an outpost at Roonachee and Roonachee Highs there's a lake where I find the most mallards

Tyler Thilmany i recommend setting multiple camps up at various lakes. Switch back a fourth between camps.

Since you have weapon pack 2, would the .45 colt be better for hunting blacktails/whitetails compared to .357 you used in the video?

Hayden its much more powerful than the 357 overall but the ammo for it does not have as good penetration as the 357 hard cast ammo.

Normi Ukkeli I found it easier to drop deers with the 45 as heart shots are instant kill. The follow-up shots are slower than the 357 however
