I was reading the codex and gemsbok are a "class 3 or class 4 animal". So I started using the .300 mag and had 100% integrity, and double lunging with poly-tips drops them quick

I can do $200,000 in less than 3hrs on Yukon. Sometimes I have 4-5 bears down at the same time. And then there’s wiping out entire herds of Caribou and buffalo.

Killed a 914 roe with the 30 30 and then a 952 moose on medved with the 4570 I would love to see a 30 06 lever action or the 405 lever action from classic added to COTW

In another video you have said try to avoid killing 4+ animals in the same area due to the way hunting pressure interacts with zone mechanics. Does employing this strategy make it possible there won't be a gemsbok drink zone at this lake on your map in the future?

You probably don't play this game anymore but the answer is that the tripod lowers the hunting pressure dramatically (1/4th of each kill), so he can shoot up to 16 animals in the same zone.

Tip #1 stay around water. Many of the need zones drink zones are around the lakes. Tip #2 Don’t shoot at the first thing you see especially if it’s a bad shot anyway. Wait and either call an animal closer or get it to turn for a better shot. Also might be a much larger animal in cover near by so have some patience. #3 pick your perks wisely they really do help a lot. #4 Hunt an area and don’t get all caught up chasing after things. If you spook animals out of their zones just chill out for a few minutes and most of the time they will come right back. #5 keep an eye on the wind direction and adjust you plans accordingly. #6 do the missions. They will help you gain experience and a good deal of money. Anyway that’s a few and happy hunting!!!

If you don't have the money to taxidermy an animal you can save it. Later, when you have the money, you can pull it from saves and taxidermy it then.

@@aquariumaddict forgive the (probably) stupid question. But how do I pull them out of saves? I have a few I think/hope I saved and now have the trophy lodge. I'm on Xbox if that matters.

Does the ground blind do the same thing with the hunting pressure as the tripod?

Yeah. All blinds cut down strength of hunting pressure.

Not as much as the tripod, the tripod is the best for cutting down hunting pressure.

All blinds cut down pressure the same amount. 1/4. There was a bug that stopped ground blinds from doing that but it was patched.

What idk is if you have to purchase the treestand dlc to get the reduced hunting pressure. On their blog it is mentioned that a new feature of the game is that all hunting structures reduce pressure significantly. However this is mentioned on the treestand dlc page. Idk if it's a vanilla patch or specific to dlc.

@@projectdaaltaran I don't know I just know the wiki mentions that the Tree stand does it slightly, while the tripod does it significantly.
