I dunno if this has already be said, but Welyn! That twist you do with the longsword is actually historically accurate! It's a quick attack that keeps the sword close to you, and ready for defense against any counter attacks.

I actually practice fighting with a longsword and the second attack with the longsword is known as a "Zwerchhau" (its German). Its really cool to see a game use realistic attacks, although I will admit from the camera angle it looks very strange. In real life you would hold the sword pretty much directly over your head which you couldn't see well from that camera angle. Its actually very useful for getting around defenses, and even as an opening strike!

I've heard the 2nd swing of the longsword referred to as the Thwarting Cut or Thwarting Strike. The angle of attack lets you strike while also defending from one of the most common striking angles of an enemy from the front - an overhand dominant swing, it's attack and defense in 1 stroke. You can see old medieval art of knights and such posed with this attack pretty commonly.

@@Astelch well maybe. The charges are bullshit, as the code they say they copyrighted has been used for Dark and Darker before said code was copywrited, so there is a good chance the charges will get dropped.

@@oBCHANo the idea for the game comes from dnd, the assets were all made by someone else and bought on an asset store and the artwork looks similar because they were made by the same artist. Nexon can suck an egg and try to sue instead of actually making their own version of the game and competing with ironmace.

It's inspired by it like most rpg's but what does that have to do with every single game mechanic and idea being the exact same as the P3 project? the assets might be from the store but they just happened to use the exact same 2000 assets, and modify them in the exact same way? And the artwork isn't just similar, it's practically the exact same, the idea that being the same artist means it will be similar is insane, you have no idea how the real world works do you? As an artist I can only ever produce the same imagine over and over again, makes perfect sense. Oh and Nexon were making their own game, before somebody stole all the changelogs and assets and poached the team who were making it. Dog.

I can recommend to you a little cheeky playstyle with Fighter for future playtests, you can run Adrenaline and either Second Wind or Sprint, and go Dual Wielding, Slayer and Combo in your perks, and go for dual wielding, preferably Shortsword - Aming Sword or Horseman's Axe/Flanged Mace - Hatchet. Once you pop Adrenaline, you will DROWN your enemies in attacks. Only downside is you lack in defence, but make up in shitload of damage. Bring bonfires and lots of pots

I will as soon as they can prove that they didn't steal the source code. But the evidence is building against them. Choi even admitted to downloading the source code to a private server without permission, that is theft and he might face jail time for it. Don't get me wrong, I despise the money grubbing Nexon but I hate thieves more.
