Yeah, it is. It's a wholesome moment between Thad and Alex, where Thad recognised that Alex was feeling upset and defeated because of Stephanie, and decided to help encourage him to overcome it. Thad is a team leader. He's the captain. The captain's job is to help his men and see them through to the end. I take it, you haven't seen the show.
