Unmarked SWAT Units Responding Code 3 + On Scene Footage - Henderson Police Department

On 2/16/24 Henderson Police Department was working a two vehicle traffic accident involving a direct tv van. While officers were investigating the crash a male carjacked the direct tv driver and led Henderson Police on a high speed pursuit that at one point went wrong way on Boulder highway and crashing into vehicles. Officers shut down the pursuit due to the dangerous driving. Units followed from a distance and ended up finding the stolen van crashed out into a fence. Units set up a perimeter and shortly after a female came out of a nearby residence advising a male is hiding in her bathroom. Officers got full containment with the assistance of the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department as it was in their jurisdiction and started PA announcements in effort to get the suspect to surrender. After a while the suspect did not surrender Henderson Police Department Special Weapons And Tactics (SWAT) and Crisis Negotiations Team (CNT) were activated and requested to respond to the command post. The suspect surrendered after a few rounds of announcements and a flash bang. You will see multiple SWAT and CNT units responding in this video. Unfortunately I missed about 6 units including two bearcats as there was many ways into this neighborhood.
