I attended a HBCU and desperately wanted to join DST. I had the grades, status, and all the credentials to join. I was shocked that I was not selected after going through the preliminary/interview process; it made absolutely no sense. Looking back, I now know God was protecting me. My entire family is Greek affiliated and I will be interceding and going to war against the dark powers that be related to these organizations! The generational cycle will be broke in Jesus’ name 🙌🏾

When I was in college I got bit by the Alpha bug and I was DETERMINED to join that fraternity. Eventually my senior year I got picked to pledge and the longer I did it, the dumber I felt. I knew it wasnt right and no way in hell would I let anyone do what was being done to me in any other circumstance during set so I left. Looking back I'm so happy I left, that was God protecting my soul. I celebrate and pray for anyone with the courage to denounce. No normal sane individual is going to torture someone they don't know that hasn't done anything to them. Thats just not something a person of sound mind would do. Thank you for this video. I pledged one night and knew that something wasn't right based on what I saw in concert with the word of God. I called my pastor and received counsel to leave. I then went to the head, who's typically in administration at a HBCU, and told the brother that what I saw wasn't right. That brother, who's typically assertive, couldn't even look me into the eye. All that he could do was play with the trinkets on his desk. That was back in 2008. I'm so proud to see these brothers and sistas speaking that truth because it's affirming.

I am a former member of D9, and the young man is 100% correct. At the time, I, too, did not have a close, intimate relationship with the Lord. Honestly, after going through the rituals and taking the oaths, I looked at my then line sisters like, "What did we just participate in?" While in the process of renouncing, I let my female child know that I didn't want her to participate in or become a member of any Greek organization. Bottom line... Nothing or no one should stand between our relationship with Christ. Absolutely nothing!

Bullcrap.... I pledged Fall 2000 Epsilon Sigma Chapter Alpha Phi Alpha and my hand on the bible I would do it all over again. Thill today I have brothers in the chapter I still talk too over 24 years ago. This fraternity has been helping black scholars and communities for over 100 years and have made people like Martin Luther King, W.E.B. Dubois, Roland Martin, Sen. Raphael Warnock (who himself is a preacher). You tripping.

I just sent this to my childhood friend who just pledged. He was the PERFECT candidate, to be an enticed victim. He was an only child, grew up in a loveless home, and ALWAYS YEARNED for community. Nobody has said he's lying. Ppl might say they don't worship greek gods, but nobody has called him a liar. Nobody has gone into detail explaining why their actions shouldn't be considered demonic worship of other gods.

While making jokes about the denouncers, he said the D-9 organizations should have a 30-page document explaining what happens, two signatures signed by parents or an adult so they know what they are getting into. Pretty much the KZfaqr was saying he wished it was like Harry Potter.

@@nicolet2343A lot of Devine 9 will not entertain this because (mostly African Americans in terms of membership ethnicity), are mostly believers, Christians and other religious beliefs. So as much as we love our organizations we believe and worship one God. Each of us have a personal relationship with God. The concept of we practicing idolatry is extreme and is an attack on our orgs. Most of us don't care what non members think. There are thousands of us in each org. So if we're really practicing voodoo, witchcraft and worshipping false gods many of us would be running away and not looking back. Scripture is up for interpretation. Therefore we don't interpret our rituals as demonic. With that said, I only wish this denouncer peace and honors in his journey getting closer to God. I understand his position on this. I will say this, some things he's talking about is right in terms of fraternity culture. But he's wrong on other things. There are other details I won't comment on because these are secret societies. We have secrets! We may have been founded on Christian principles. But we are not a Christian organization. We are simply college fraternities and sororities. A lot of people are putting way too much attention on us while not having anything to do with us.

My grandmother told me a story on how one of her closest friends was in a relationship with one of the men of these types of fraternities and organizations and one night he invited her to their fraternity house and he introduced her to his frat brothers and they pinned her down, blindfolded and raped her. My grandma had to take her to the hospital and told me her friend was hysterical but that she “couldn’t” press charges against them. I’ve heard so many other things as well that I won’t speak on but people need to stay away from these types of organizations and turn to God. ❤

Yes. This is true. It depends on the chapter you're in. A lot of undergrad chapters practice this classist behavior because respect is highly regarded on campus. This is one of the attributes I don't particularly care for. However I ONLY worship the Lord Jesus Christ, one God. God nor any demonic spirit has spoken to me otherwise. I respect others who has denounced to get closer to God. But this is not my interpretation of my Fraternity.

I recall being suspended from frat activities because it was made known at an A PHI A probate that l attended their info session. This happened earlier into crossing PBS probably a week old in the frat as a Neo. Apparently I did attend the info session a semester before pledging PBS. It caused a lot of stir among the brotherhood. Almost got beat up in the process by some older brothers at that time. I was banned from wearing letters and also attending meetings. I cried my life out that year when it happened. I was 19 years old at that time.

God is separating the wheat from the tares using truth. Therefore, their persecution is our persecution because truth separates, so how we respond is important. The idolatry of "career" will also be exposed. The church has been hiding from the idolatry of "career" because of the financial benefits, but many of us have truths to tell about industry. The true churches will provide platform for truth while fake churches will participate in silence and or "Judas" betrayal.

Not gonna lie... I only have 10 minutes left on the video and just now realized they're talking about Black fraternities and sororities. The way the brotha with the afro was talking, I legit thought D9 was a gang and he was describing the ins and outs of gang life!

To God be all the glory and praise. We shall all rejoice for people coming out of these wicked organizations. None of these organizations are Christian, biblical, or aligned with God. They have made for themselves their own god. Imagine the audacity of their leaders saying they want denouncers to sign NDAs for their secrets. Sounds clearly like they're operating in darkness. It is written: "...Light has come into the world, but people loved darkness instead of light because their deeds were evil." John 3:19.

Why hadn’t God spoken to them? He has already spoken through the scriptures. As Paul said in the book of Corinthians to examine oneself if you ARE truly in the faith. This is an ongoing process and not a one time thing. The issue is what people consider Christianity. Some believe you can live however you choose and still have a relationship with God. One things for sure, He does not force himself on anyone but will give you over to your own desires. And a lot of people did not desire the ways of God in those organizations. So would you even hear him in that Greek lifestyle and college lifestyle? God had already spoken, people just choose to ignore Him and go after the desires of their own heart.
