This message was for me. I don’t know Norris’ story but I know God led me to listen to this discussion. I’ve been fighting the same demon… self unforgiveness. I grew up in a Christian home, accepted Christ early in my life. Walked away and had a child out of wedlock. She’s growing up without a father in her life. I have hated myself for that for a very long time. How could I have made such a a mistake? How could I have done that to my child? A man that should not have been her father is her father and he’s not what I would have ever chosen for her. I beat myself daily because of this mistake, not for myself but for what it’s meant for my child. The Lord has been speaking to me about forgiveness. Forgiveness of myself for that bad decisions I made. I have to deal with the consequences but the Lord has a plan for me and for my child. I can move on and accept His forgiveness. My daughter will be ok because Jesus has a plan for her life. Jesus is in control and all things will be worked out for our good. I forgive myself. I forgive her father. I accept restoration and renewal. In Jesus’ mighty name. Amen.

The explanation of the graphic cruxifixction, the detailed breakdown of the prodigal son and guilt and shame, the revelation of redemption…. this entire conversation is a gift from God!!! You two are being used here to spread the message of Jesus’ intense and true love for us!! Thank you Lord for this conversation! Thank you Jesus for these young men! I pray over this episode that it reaches the masses and that it heals wounds, brings forth the acceptance of redemption for those who need it. So many gems in this episode. My sin made me sick to my stomach. It only shocked and disappointed me in view of how I believed I loved God yet betrayed Him. He was never appalled but already strategized my return before the occasion to sin arose. We’re often busy mourning over things God moved on from. Wow!
