Let's decipher the diplomatic jargon. "We do not encourage or support the strikes within Russia." "Do no encourage" = We don't tell Kyiv what to target. "Do not support" = Kyiv is using their own weapons.

TVP Please do not confuse what American politicians say with what Americans think. I am American and fully support Ukraine. I think the politicians saying don't bomb russia are as dumb as they can be. Meanwhile they have no trouble bombing yemen or other countries.

In this case it’s more about what wasn’t said; there was nothing condemning the attacks, merely a statement that America doesn’t SUPPORT them. ie. “Neither American intel nor materiel is being utilised in the missions.” It’s diplomatic speak for, “nothing to do with us, it’s completely out of our hands, carry on chaps.” It’s rare, but in this one instance I believe that TVP has overreacted.

I just realised when you talked about it that the reason for showing the condition of the ‘suspects’ to the Russian people was to demonstrate that they were already being punished for what the people had suffered. Of course this might also help deflect their attention from who really done it, who knew and importantly, why no one stopped them.

Love to 🇵🇱 ❤ and TVP from 🇺🇸 I saw a comment similar to Smith's on Jake Broe's channel. I don't remember who said it but Jake used the words: "We don't ENCOURAGE Ukraine,...." Not using the word discourage, meaning that they do not not encourage. Looks like Smith's comment definitely use the words do not support so will have to check where Jake's info came from. Jake is very Pro Ukraine as I'm sure most of Poland's knows who follow him. Maybe President Biden used the words don't encourage. The point is that the majority of us in America Ukraine to do whatever is needed for you to get the occupiers out. Even Biden. Whoever has watched PBS Frontline's "Putin and the presidents" Which came out I believe in 2022 maybe 2023 but Biden want to do step in to help Ukraine in 2014 when he was the vice president. Unfortunately Obama did not think it was a priority at the time. I hope that Obama feels very differently now. I liked Obama and voted for him. Personally, i believe that America should do everything possible to help Ukraine. We all know who the problems are Mike Johnson and Trump. I do think that "someone(s)" need to "find" Putin like we "found" Bin Laden. I don't think I need to explain that. U.S. Defense Secretary Austin has made it perfectly clear. If Russia is able to take Ukraine then we are going to war. Why wait until Russia takes Ukraine? Do something now. From what the map shows of territory Russia has been able to take since the beginning in 2022, it is 96 square miles . Almost half a million Russian troops have died in 2 + years for only 96 square miles. This is from Jake Broe yesterday. If Russians moved at this rate, it would take them how many decades and how many more dead soldiers?? I don't want Ukraine to lose 1 more life due to Putin's War. Slava Ukraine 🇺🇦 ♥️

'finding putun' in the same way as bin laden would be the wrong way to end the war. It would only lead to Russians drawing the conclusion that ultimately putin was probably right and for someone worse to come to power. Putin has to be removed by Russians himself and all we can do is help convince those arround him that he is a liability and there won't be business as usual with him arround

This worries me. NATO let their guard down. NATO thought China, North Korea and terrorism would be the biggest threats and totally taking their eye off the “ball” which is Russia. What happened to our intelligence agencies? How did they not know Russia would attack Ukraine years ago? How did they not know the Ukrainians would fight like hell and push Russia out of Kiev in the beginning and not take Ukraine in a matter of days? How did they not know Russia’s war machine was crumbling and Putin would have to rely on overwhelming numbers of young Russians dying to make slow gains.

But Russia has lost wars where Russian territory, or at least territory they claimed as Russian, was invaded. They lost the Crimean War, the Russo-Japanese War, the First World War, and the Polish-Soviet War. In those wars the Russians had enough sense to surrender after their military collapsed and before their enemies marched on Saint Petersburg and Moscow.
