What a relaxing and recharging get away you guys had :D ! I do hope your partner gets back into art when he can. I don't have an instagram, but I'll let some friends know :). I'd say the vacation was good for both. If the artist is overstressed/overworked, etc., art can come hard to them or just not quite the way they want it to come out. Of course, there are exceptions to this, but overall, I think it's correct.
