@@CatwellArt It is very beautiful, and painting Plein Air is a wonderful opportunity so long as you remember to wear layers of clothing, sunscreen, take an umbrella as we absolutely do manage all four seasons in a day... occasionally within an hour. There is a saying here though "there is no such thing as bad weather, only the wrong clothing". It remains a wonderful and very friendly place to visit, as well as live. 😁

I started to realize who it was when you mentioned there are a number of books about her, but the first one has stayed with you the most. Netflix had a pretty good series that was unfortunately cancelled before they could complete the first book. Of course, I've never read the book, so take that opinion with a grain of salt. I think the second character is from Catcher In The Rye. I paused right after you did the except from the book. *checks if I'm right* Yep! Just forgot his name until you showed it XD . I read the book recently, maybe a few years ago, and enjoyed it overall. I'm guessing the next is The Great Gatsby? I paused a bit after the except after you said "rich" *checks if I'm right* Right again, but I forgot his first name XD . I've only read the book in high school, so I'm surprised I could guess this one. Paused at the sketch before the except for the next one and I'm guessing Sherlock Holmes. Lol Holmes just have a custom style pipe =P . Yeah, his iconic look was a dead giveaway. I'm guessing Miss Marple for the next one based off the "criminal" part you were talking about, but I never read her books so I'm unsure. Yep, I only knew because my mom used to watch the show back in the day. I never did get to see it all the way through, just saw snippets. Hmm my favorite? Good Question....Either Anne or Holden. As for personality, I'd have to go with Marple. This was quite nice :D ! A different setup, but kind of interactive in a way. Thanks for sharing your wonderful and vibrant artwork as always :D !!!

Yes, Netflix often does that, cancel shows even the audience liked them. 🤔 You really are good at this! 😅 And I am happy the video was interactive 😊😊Ah, the show for Miss Marple I really like! Say to your mum 'hi' from me! 🥰 Nice choice, miss Marple is an interesting character, we just don't expect her to be a detective! @@CatwellArt Thanks :) . Have you seen Poirot? It's also by Agatha Christie and started out as a TV series, but later became a movie series. It's sooooo good! Yes, that is an unfortunate trend :( . Thanks again, I used to play Trivia a lot so these things are fun for me :) . Ok, I'll tell her you said hi :) . Yes, she uses this to her advantage. I love horses and plein air painting so this video was a joy to watch. I also paint with watercolor and find it a real challenge. It’s such a beautiful medium that I’m determined to stick with it though. Thanks for your videos!

That's some good advice you gave near the beginning with insecurities. It may take a while to overcome it, but worth it in the end. Lol the horse was just curious to see your art XD . To be honest, I struggle with many things when it comes to art, especially since I don't practice much at all anymore these days. I especially have a hard time with hands and feet if it's a person, animals in general, and vehicles/machinery. As for the kinds of art I'm not good at, watercolor is definitely one of them. I think we talked about that before though. Wow, I really like the way you illustrated the main. It has a nature feel to it, like long grass or roots.Thanks for sharing as always :) .

Thank you ☺️I felt better talking about it. Oh 😂yes, but he was really scary, literally staring at me! Yes, hands and feet are really hard in figure drawing, practice is the solution! I know it sounds obvious but it does help! Watercolours are tricky but I love them! ☺️ Actually when I was painting the mane I thought about it, it looks like burned from sun grass !True! It's just getting over my insecurities and actually starting that's holding me back. Plus money and time, but that's less of an issue XD. Looks like a nice nature walk :) . I like how your work has become more vibrant overtime. I think you said before it was your new watercolor paint, but maybe it's also your wet on wet technique you've been using recently? Also, do you think a big part of watercolor is utilizing negative space or do you think that's just one of many water color techniques? Love the rich greens of course =P .

Oh it definitely was, all these cute squirrels and geese made it fun! You think so? Well maybe it's the paint, Windsor and Newton are really good. ☺️Yes , definitely one of the important techniques! And in the middle of the process it might look like you are missing something 😅but it turns out well at the end(most of the time). I love these greens too, bought new nuances lately 😂. Neat title animation :) .Thanks for all of the tips! Straight forward and easy to understand :) . I have to admit, I haven't done watercolor since high school I believe. I wasn't very good at it, but to be fair, I only did it a few times, not counting when I was a child. I do have an adult coloring book that you can water color if you like, but I haven't touched it yet. Maybe I should use that to practice.

What a relaxing and recharging get away you guys had :D ! I do hope your partner gets back into art when he can. I don't have an instagram, but I'll let some friends know :). I'd say the vacation was good for both. If the artist is overstressed/overworked, etc., art can come hard to them or just not quite the way they want it to come out. Of course, there are exceptions to this, but overall, I think it's correct.
