Opinion 5# is literally perfection. I noticed this debate is more common with girlgroups, I don't really see many boygroup stans fighting over this as often as GG's. I personally like fluid dancers, more focused on sharpness, with a strong popping thecnique. Unfortunately, to me, girlgroups focus to much on fluidity and lack a bit more strength in their sharp movements, and boygroups focus to much on strength and lack a bit more fluid and delicate movements. I like more balance between the two. But that's just my opinion.

LOL I agree that Russian Roulette was THAT bitch, but Psycho to me didn't really suit Red Velvet. It didn't sound like a k-pop song at all and IMO aged like milk--I loved it for 2 days and then got tired. Also, the demo was in English, and while I don't like to take lyric videos on YT as the absolute truth, the lyrics definitely felt like something was lost from the original translation (English to Korean). Not to mention, the random English lines and Irene + Yeri rap part felt very out of place and the lyrics didn't even make sense. It sort of felt like they took the emotions and angst in the demo and "sanitized" it to make it a "safer" song for k-pop. Lastly, Psycho wasn't a song that needed choreo, nor was the choreo that good (IMO). Now if Psycho had been released as like a Wendy or Seulgi solo song on the other hand....SOTY. They both have emotional voices that would have done Psycho justice, especially in English. I'd love to see Wendy do an English ver. of Psycho. Psycho and Russian Roulette are all-rounded songs from Red Velvet and I think many would agree. While their other songs are also catchy, you can clearly hear how packed these 2 are, from their creative concepts, unique melody, great harmony in execution of the song and matching choreo. I'm not a RV fan but I do listen to their comeback songs and these 2 left the deepest impression on me.

Jennie is one of the best female rappers of this generation, I feel like Jennie has better technique and better tone. Jennie’s pronunciation is also better than Lisa’s for someone who prefers a faster rap and Lisa has a slower rap style. Jennie is also more versatile than Lisa and has wrote more. Lisa is great rapper and I understand that people might prefer Lisa but I feel people confuse preferring a style of a person to which person is better

I actually agree with most of your opinions, except that I would add Dumb Dumb and Red Flavor to the top Red Velvet title tracks, those songs slap. Also, I think the biggest problem with the one comeback a year BlackPink is doing, as you said, is that it's just one song, and one that's practically the same as before; they should just make full albums that way.

I remember a couple of months ago I was so upset that it was taking bp sooo longgg to release a new song. One day I told my parent's about it and they said "Its only been a year, when we were younger we would have to wait 3 years or so. But because they spent all time working on the lyrics and beat, the songs were always perfect quality." And that made me think, we shouldn't rush bp because that probably means yg is going to be more strict on their schedules and tire them out, making the members performance lower and possible the downfall of the entire comeback, but if we wait were more likely to get a higher quality song with better lyrics, choreo, and a good beat. (And hopefully a different writing style.... I'm talking to you yg) Feel free to agree or disagree

The difference between kpop and western releases is that kpop artists release singles or short EPs regularly while western artists release full albums every couple of years. The only think I disagreed with: Blackpink’s one comeback was not a good idea. Especially if the songs lately have been very similar, plus the pattern in almost each comeback makes it sound like the same thing over and over again. So the whole one year wait is almost pointles. Plus, I wouldn’t necessarily say they are unique. The girl crush concept has been done so many times and I would say that other groups do it much better. Their songs are definitely more for the pop market. Especially their excessive use of English, especially in Solo and Kill This Love.

If blackpink wanted to be like western artists only having a comeback per year, at least they should do full albums with various Singles. Not releasing a copy of their previous song and that's it. But now we r finally getting a full album in September, im so happy😊
